  10. That sounds like a good class So in this proposed class for example, you would allow single turbo conversions on GTR's, Rb30 bottom ends, different gearboxes etc - that kind of thing? Or less mods than those Looks like ill have to wait another year

Hahaha, thanks for that ill mention i spoke to you when she calls back As Snowy said, ive got an rb30 bottom end, so it looks like i cant enter anyway - unless there's a class for people who just want to have fun and dont take it as seriously as the guys at the pointy end of the field?   15. Seeing as this is "superlap on a shoestring", are you keeping track of the cost of this project? Whats the grand total? Also, hows the other car coming along?
  16. lol yeh agreed. Its more enjoyable to be having fun than taking it seriously IMO In NSW we had to can our one aswel for the exact same reason Snowy and team Vic had to can theirs. (except our facility rental price is much higher meaning we would lose more) Its a really average choice to have to make and there will always be unhappy people at the end of it as it results in something thats not of their own doing Given all the variables its a tough choice to make, so i can sympathsize with the organizers, especially as this was the first of this type of event meaning others in the future will be scruitinized more heavily before being given the green light Keep up the good work Snowy Chris James Bec and the rest of you lot - see you in November

  20. Hi guys, I need some help with Cams for my car - and what better place to ask than the collective wisdom of SAU?! Here's a list of the parts fitted that matters; -Rb26 head -RB30 bottom -Motor is fully built -Head ported -Tomei type A springs (happy to change if required) -Adj cam gears -Cam baffles -Oil return from head etc So, with that said the turbo setup is pretty basic; -HKS GT-RS's -Cleaned up stock manifolds -Either R33 GTR, Xforce, Tomei or HKS dumps (just waiting to pickup R33 dumps and measure size then will go with largest) -3.5 zorst -"Highflow" cat So the question is, what cams should i get? Im not fussed about a lumpy idle or anything like that - i just want the best suited Cams for the job. The car is used for hillclimbs, trackdays and generally that sort of thing All help is appreciated

And for $2k you cant really go wrong given the amount of K's driven EDIT: I rang the number on the bottom of the email to find out the exact rules regarding cages - does anyone here know 100% what the rules will be? I have a bolt in half cage sitting here i can put in, not really looking to get a full weld in cage

Have a look around the radiator, my guess is that it would be around there Give it a bit of stick down old pac one day soon and keep an eye on the temps - that should give you an indication As a reference, my old setup with no cooler would hit 130degrees with ease on old pac doing the uphill section I am BUSTING to have a look at your new car mate - Coming to any club events soon?
