Awesome technology, they're great to drive, and yes I would change if I had the money for a newer one. It's not as much fun to drive, nor as much fun to watch as the GTS-T Skyline though IMO. *Gasp* - AndyMac whats wrong with you!? YOU CAN NEVER HAVE ENOUGH ROTARY.... ROTARY ROTARY ROTARY!!! ... Did someone say ROTARY?.... ROTARY! My vote goes with SR20 S13 or an RB25 R32 - Or even a completely stock S1.5 R33. They're newer than the R32's obviously and you can get a decent-ish example for that money. They are ok on fuel. The only thing it lacks over the R32 is the slight difference in weight and the good looks, but you gain a more reliable daily... Whichever option you choose it'll be a downgrade from the 20B Are you sure you wanna do it?

Yeah, I was assuming obviously that the guy wasnt full of shit about the amount of power the thing has got. you've gotta remember that the in car video makes it appear much slower than it really is too.

I was thinking the same thing... But then I remembered that the thing weighs 1700kg... Taking the weight into account, that thing would be about 230kw odd (at 1400kg)...

.. stock - yeah right. The famous last words of a prospective GTR owner.. Honestly though, you would probably be better off starting with something like a R33 GTS-T.. There is a million of them around, so they are very cheap to buy, plus parts are in abundance (a major plus when you stack it!). It's much much easier to find a clean example of a R33GTST or R34GTT.. Most R32GTR's have been belted their whole lives. You wouldnt be able to afford an immaculate GTR with your budget anyway, let alone a run down one with the repairs you can expect in the first few years. As someone else mentioned, they are quite old cars now. Most are getting to the age/km's now that engine rebuilds are necessary. In case you dont know, an engine rebuild can cost many many thousands of dollars (depending on the parts you use).
