  1. I can sort of feel it coming on I think... I've got a massive bender of a weekend planned so I'll bet that I'll have it well and truly on Monday morning!
  2. Good luck to em... One day they'll jimmy the wrong door and end up disembowelled and splattered all over someones front yard
  3. I usually give a nod if the person is looking... if they dont acknowledge back then it's a simple case of stalking them till they arrive home, then skinning their cat and leaving it on the front porch... The moral of the story is - Make sure you wave!
  4. Sweet, let me know how the discount goes - Cheap stuff ftw!
  5. kinda sorta... not really.. but close! Very good point, although a lot of people (eg. me!) actually use PocketPC mobile phones, so have to carry one around anyway. A lot of the new ones coming out now have built in GPS as well, negating the use of a big ugly CompactFlash or SD Card GPS receiver Sounds like a great little device! I'm wondering if it's possible to hook this thing up to a PC and log it directly to the PC's HDD for extra storage?? I guess it depends how many hours of driving you do per week, but I'm just thinking that it might not have enough memory to store info back to say the date of a camera speeding fine... Usually they take 4-6 weeks to get posted out dont they? I'd average about an hour and a quarter of driving per day, so thats about 9.5 weeks of data! No need to log it to the PC in that case. Where can you get these little devices from Vic?
  6. I'm trying to find software to integrate into my CarPC that will do this... No luck yet, but this looks like a great alternative!
  7. Yep, that would be my pick too ^^^^
  8. What area are you in? There are a number of good workshops all over sydney.
  9. Turning is SOO overrated...
  10. White wall tyres and Japanese sports cars dont mix IMO... Plus the car would feel like driving a bucket of runny poo..
  11. Understeer is a much less dangerous form of loss of traction than oversteer for the inexperienced driver, so therefore it does help for more experienced drivers.
  12. I am! since they shut the community threads I haven't really been near SAU all that much unfortunately. I had to go to Melbourne for work on the weekend of the sns too, so I missed out Whats the private forum that people are using now? I signed up ages ago but forgot to save the link

  15. Unfortunately this is typical for these suburbs.. What confuses and annoys me is why almost all of these incidents are reported to be carried out by people of "Middle Eastern appearance". Why!?
  16. Did the weather hold off in the end?
