  1. I've got the same problem... massive jack stands and a dodgy low lift jack
  2. Depends what sort of thing you're after mate. Do you want to know about nice pubs, clubs, restaurants, tourist activities...? Agreed on the above comment.. city is much better than Parramatta for night life. You havent got as far to roll home if you're staying in the city as well!
  3. lol.. why does melbournes "Mostly Cloudy" look like clear blue sky, but ours is full of rain!? That's dodgy
  4. Happy birthday amigo!
  5. They dont have to be the right fuses.. any high rated fuse will do! At the end of the day, any semi-pro car thief will be able to figure out that if there's no immobiliser they can find, then the fuses must be missing/blown.. it's the first step in diagnosing why a car doesnt kick over!
  6. Post some pics up mate.. A car that's worth $8000 in reward to get back...? Sounds like you should have taken some more steps to secure it! GPS/GSM tracking for example. Sorry to hear though mate. All the best in getting it back.
  7. Con: Salespeople driving your car!
  8. So not worth their time dusting for prints. Especially when the vehicle wasnt actually stolen.
  9. nah dont do the drags on wednesdays, I prefer track racing personally.. my car is not really set up for drag anyway.. suspension is too hard! at that woolworths every now and then so it could have been me.. there are plenty of white R33's around though
  10. Hey Steph I live in Marsfield, and drive past the uni accommodation a couple of times a day. Chances are I'm one of the skylines you've seen (White R33 GTS-T).. As Chris said - the runs are left for the track.. Wednesday nights at Eastern Creek they have drags for street cars. As for illegal street drags, if they still happen in Sydney you probably wont find out about them on the internet. Police are pretty tough when it comes to street racing so it's far far underground now.
  11. woah.. lucky you! had it have been a pro you would be carless right now!
  12. It wasnt only how shit the food is, its the fact that you've gotta stand in line for 20 minutes to get it which burns the most!
  13. I think you're overreacting steve.. I dont think you'd be getting so worked up if you were drinking an icy cold Coca Cola. Taste the sensation.
  14. flat 12 is damn fast, considering the V8 Supercars do it in the 1:09 to 1:11 bracket!
  15. Aha.. That makes sense. It certainly looked like it was having traction issues!
  16. Wow, yeah they're pretty rare!

  18. Beautiful car... But something tells me that it's a little too "Enthusiast" and not enough "LOOK AT MY MASSIVE RIMS, DECALS, AND WHOOSHY NOISES!!"
  19. lol.. damn straight.
  20. Looks like a prime lens.. or it could just be the 40D.. they take nice shots!
  21. erm... pretty sure the 2002 TT was sold here........ did you even read my post?
  22. exactly.. not to mention warranty and all that which you get for the locally delivered unit. Speaking of TT's, boss bought a new TT-S.. I must hit him up for a drive! Specs look ok, but I wouldnt pay $90k for it. I should probably wait till after a drive to say that though
  23. Unless you're planning to live there and own the car for 12 months... no chance. You can then import it as a personal import. Someone correct me if i'm wrong, but if a parallel model of a vehicle is sold in australia you cant get it complied (nor registered obviously). There are a few importers floating around the forum, so ask them. I think they'll pretty much echo the above.
