  1. Rich bastard
  2. I think Taleb tyres still sell some of the parallel import Toyo R888's for cheap if you're interested.. Last time i bought them they were $170 or so for 215 R16's.. Really soft tyres but they heat up quickly and grip like buggery. Ask chubbs about Taleb if you're interested. I think he knows them fairly well.
  3. Ditto.. I gave up half way through the post
  4. I was thinking zactly the same thing. That's why I asked how many cars
  5. Ooo tempting.. I needed something just like this to prompt me to get my car track ready for winter Do you know how many cars will be allowed matt?
  6. Happy b'day chubbs - Hope you have a great day mate!
  7. Generally it's 10% on most speed cameras. Not sure about Lidar guns..?
  8. The new track looks cool.. Looks pretty uneven though! Looks like it'd be a challenge at high speed
  9. ... and any club that doesnt allow easy entry is a hovel for coke dealers? +1
  10. Tank is one of the best venues in Syd IMO. You should have a good night
  11. Umm.. BS I've met heaps of hot AND down to earth chicks in clubs in sydney. Admittedly I'm usually only at house/electro clubs. The r&b clubs i've been to I havent really noticed much difference though... apart from the fact that I'm usually the only aussie in the club.
  12. He said Sydney, not Campbelltown
  13. with a name like moneypit i'm sure he's definitely up for throwing away some cash!
  14. Dunno, but Jamezilla from VIC would. He works for them
  15. The Supercar Club? http://www.supercarclub.com.au/
  16. The volume level that the EPA use isnt a peak loudness, the reading is taken from DROPPING the throttle from a specific RPM to idle. The tested RPM is different for every vehicle. They've got a book which states the RPM which needs to be tested for each type of car. Heres some more info: http://www.ntc.gov.au/filemedia/Reports/Na...estSept2006.pdf Anyway you'd probably find that on the ferrari it would be be under 90db. It's only when under heavy acceleration that it would scream like you heard. It's probably the same reason so many bikes get away with having ridiculously loud exhausts.
  17. ive used both motul and elf very recently, and I cant feel any difference, nor see any temp difference... So what weights were the Royal Purple VS Motul? Which Motul oil was he comparing - 4100, 8100, 300V? Even things like differences in humidity will see a 3kw difference from one day to the next! We change the oil so often in these cars that it would never get the chance to go off - except for burning it at track days etc. I dont think the brand of oil makes much difference at all. as long its fully synth you're not going to see a noticable difference if you're comparing oils with the same weight.
  18. If you know which dealership, just call them and ask for whatever his name is. They may tell you that he's "on holiday", or actually put him on the phone for you!
  19. Ouuuch.. Sounds like you had all of the bases covered as you should.. He's either ripped your mate off, or he's gotten a little bit too happy and crashed the car. Therefore stalling you until he can get it repaired (ie. "Going on holidays"). If there's anything I dislike more than a liar, it's a liar who lies to good people. Good luck to your mate in getting the car, or his money back!
  20. Very good question - best bet would be to do what Sam said... apply online and see how you go!
  21. Was it a super626?
  22. Yeah 2L or 4L..
  23. Motul 8100 X-CESS 5W40 is a good middle ground between the above. It comes in 5L as well, unlike the Chrono 300V which is only 4L from memory.
  24. fkn lol @ chubbs
  25. Who's vic, and why is he such a fag?
