  2. Yer, but who would steal an FTO matt? lol
  3. sounds like a lot of mucking around... as someone mentioned, the cops will have a field day with you - even WITH the exemption
  4. http://maps.google.com.au/maps?f=q&hl=...mp;t=h&z=16 None of the "Secure" parking places are particularly secure. There's plenty of cars that have been stolen from secure parking places before.. Often the most secure place is on the busiest street possible.. Most theives arent dumb enough to steal a car parked where there are a lot of cops patrolling for example. Although the busier the street the more dickheads walk past, and you know what that means
  5. Guys Chatswood Chase security has been notified that we're going to be there to meet up. They said they will allow us to be there on the condition that we keep the noise to an absolute minimum, and we leave without doing anything stupid. I've told them that we will notify police ourselves if there is any funny business. In the interest of holding future meets there - please dont do anything to piss them off or create unnecessary noise by revving the guts off your car as you arrive/leave. Also, Lucky & Peps know we're coming so they should have some tables sorted for us. Cheers.
  6. Happy Birthday Sammeh!! Have a great day dude!
  7. Damn... I think everyone should get one chance to show remorse and one chance at redemption, so I dont think he deserves life - BUT I'm guessing if he's stealing cars and trying to outrun cops he's most likely had a few chances already
  8. Fkn lawl.. Happy b'day doofman!!
  9. No problemo - done
  10. Count me in.. Can we let them know we are coming this time?
  11. Shouldnt be more than $50-$80. It's only a 30 minute job max for a decent mechanic. ... actually it depends what sort of car?
  12. Since when is a street cruise a race? If you came out on most of the SAU cruises you'd see that people generally dont give their skylines "a real hit" during a skyline cruise either!! It's that sort of behaviour that gets car clubs cruises blacklisted by the cops.. Agreed though if Supra NSW dont get any/many local entrants then that's a pretty poor effort!
  13. I'd be hesitant to spend extra bucks on a Wireless N router at the moment. The spec for the protocol hasnt been finalised (expected March '09). And while they be morons to finalise a spec that isnt compatible with all of the Wireless N gear thats been sold already - keep in mind that hardware you buy now might not be fully compatible with all future stuff. Also, be warned if you're buying a new home phone to stop the interference with 2.4GHz cordless phones (same frequency as Wireless A/B/G) - the Wireless N will be on a 5Ghz and/or 2.4ghz frequency range, which may clash with the flashy new 5.8Ghz cordless stuff thats out now. Stick with 1.8Ghz phones as they suffer from the least interference from Wireless networks, Microwaves, etc etc... They have better range and comparable voice quality in most cases anyway. If the wireless N stuff is only a few bucks more, future proofing might be a way to go. But i wouldnt spend heaps on it at the moment.
  14. Detectives cars dont usually have large antennas, yet usually are still fitted with lights in the grille or on the dash.. They will still pull you over if they see you doing something stupid, as one of my mates found out! I dont think they've used the magnetic ones on the roof since the 80's have they?
  15. Get better soon mate - Internet in a hospital eh? what'll they think of next!
  16. Pacific Highway from Berowra to Gosford (often congested on weekends) Putty road to Windsor Royal National Park towards Wollongong For shorter trips: From Hornsby to Mona Vale: Take Bobbin Head Road, and then along Mona Vale Road to McCarrs creek Road... (For another short but fun drive, shoot down to Akuna Bay, left off McCarrs Creek road. Some nice views down here. They are some nice driving roads... dont expect Swiss Alps views though, this IS sydney
  17. I agree tom - give it to that pansy VW driver!! I'd probably be a bit hesitant too when you consider Jase's car is worth about as much as an R34 GTR .... you're still a pansy jase
  18. I've just bought a house, so I'm broke.. And it's the week after I move in so I havent had (and wont have) time to fix the nugget
  19. Sorry guys, i'm out
  20. Huh? Fully sick drifters... isnt that an oxy-moron? +1 You're better off eating a lighter breakfast than removing the seat.. It only weighs a kilo or two anyway. Only way to fit a set of semi's or drift tyres is to remove it though
  21. Nah its not.. as long as you've still got the 3 belts in the back then its fine.. I got pulled over a few months ago with no back seat and the HWP guy didnt mention anything about it. Previously I've been pulled over with a metal bar mounted across the back seat (vid camera mount), and the cop said that if I want to keep it there i've gotta re-engineer the car as a two seater because its not safe for people to sit back there with the bar there. The back seat is just comfort/padding so I cant see why it'd be illegal to have it removed.
  22. Now pay me back or i'll bitch slap ya
  23. What a tosser... who doesnt like the sound of a car revving off its guts
