Just to clarify - Demerit points are actually ADDED to your licence, not removed. ie. You start with 0 points and they are added until you reach your 12 point limit.

From what I remember you can possibly get whats called a section 10... I think it means that you are still charged with the offence but dont actually lose your licence.. Im not sure exactly how it works, but generally you're eligible for a section 10 dismissal if there are no aggravating circumstances (eg. offence was excessively negligent, or your action resulted in an accident and so on). ^^ Dont take this as gospel, i have a hazy memory of it from 4-5 years ago now. I've got GTR pods like this: Are you modelling them from a GTR so they will fit, or a GTS-T bar without any pods? If they wont clear GTR pods I'll have to pull out

Yeah as Mitch said - your best bet is to contact an auto electrician. There's almost no way the ECU can decide to start the car itself... its an electrical circuit that is most likely shorting somewhere and starting the car... Just thinking though, how could the car possibly have run the starter motor for the specific amount of time needed to start the car? If it was properly shorted it would have grinded the starter motor into oblivion when the car started and the starter kept going.. Very odd problem!
