Wow, for such a lot of people with the same problem this seems like a tricky one to solve! I've got the same issue i think: Clutch Pedal OUT: Very noticable but subtle grinding sound Clutch Pedal IN: No sound at all Only between 2000-2500rpm in 1st, 2nd and 3rd: Loud grinding/crunching sound that increases with revs then disappears over 2500rpm. I dont seem to have the whine that you guys are talking about though. Would mine be the same issue?

Vigilante stuff is never a good idea when dealing with these kind of people. A lot of the time they have got a lot less to lose than you do so you can find yourself in a very bad situation. At worst you kick the shit out of them so hard that they die and so you're up for murder charges, at best if they live you're up for assault occasioning grievous bodily harm or something! It's surprising that this hasnt happened before though. Theres nothing more aggravating than being fobbed off by the cops because they wont put in a little bit of extra effort to stop this happening! What happened to the idea of stings? I've seen plenty of american shows where they set the theives up, i wonder why the dont try that here? Cost vs benefit? Or just plain laziness?

It IS a bit out... at those speeds, definitely. It's a mechanical speedo, and its definitely not meant to be accurate over its 180km/h limit.

I'm always suspicious of the security guards at places like star city.. it just seems all a bit convenient that they get away with barely any trace. The thieves are either very stupid to be stealing from a place that is theoretically covered with cameras, or they know that they cant get caught because they're mates with the security guards or whatever. I'm not saying that in this case the security had anything to do with at all, its just a conspiracy theory!
