  1. GT-SS or -9s seem to be a proven path, I'll just stick with that. That's around what GT-SS/-9s will need on 98 to make 330 I think. Might just bang them in and maybe get the timing covers freshened up and put some cam gears on it at the same time.

  3. On e85 though? How much can the factory headgasket and bottom end take though? Worth putting ARP headstuds at that point, even on a stock headgasket just to keep the head down.

  6. I've thought about it as a few of the boys get it semi regularly for their track cars (contemplated putting my silvia on it). Given I'll be driving this monthly or fortnightly at most it could be doable with a 200L drum in the shed. Easier for me to just stick with pump though. They even dropped the premium 100 at united I had the Silvia tuned on. Thankfully I can just dial a little timing out.

  8. I'm good I think, I had my heart set on -9s, but saw these flowed -7s and they seemed cheap as they included apexi pods, hard pipes etc.
  9. Most likely as there's no e85 at the pump here so I'd have toi get it in barrels which is expensive if bought from local suppliers or a bit of work if I get it from Melbourne and bring it back.
  10. Hoping to wind up with around 330 or so rwkw in a 34, have been looking at turbos. I've come across the turbo setup from the Motive DVD R32, they are apparently -7 housings machined to fit -5 ball bearing internals. I can see from the clips that they ended up making 380 plus on e85, but the steps they did the mods in didn't give me a good idea of they'd make on pump as they did the fuel system when the pump maxed out around 300rwkw. With stock cams and adjustable gears, car also has PowerFC L-Jet, which would be better in terms of response, which would be better in terms of max power? I realise there's a lot of guess work but I was hoping someone else has high flowed -7s before but I can't seem to find much with the search.

  12. What's on yours? My concern with aftermarket frp/carbon is cracking easily.
  13. They said it was hit and miss in 2007. They did a great job on the last check and found way more than was obvious so I have no reason to think they didnt do the same this time.
  14. I haven't seen enough to know how rough is rough. Was offered this for 450. Tossing up if I want oem second hand of new frp/carbon for similar money.

  17. Well I don't "have" it yet. I'll be happy once it's aesthetically sorted. Power I'm in no rush for as it's just a street car and my days of racing everyone that might have looked at me are long gone.
  18. Wanted: VSpec front and rear diffusers. Vspec pedal set. Front inner wheel plastic sections - front most pieces left and right. Rear spoiler, genuine or copy - but must be standard style. Carbon wing blade welcome. Black wheel nuts - preferably Rays. Rays Centre caps. Nismo black drop sheet style seat covers front/rear. Nismo gear knob, either the leather one or a black GT500 style one. Things I will be selling/have to swap. ARC Titanium Gearknob. Bodyform Top Secret style FRP diffuser, with carbon look leading edge. Goes all the way back to the cross member. Pic below is of the same part, i can get full pics of the actual part when I collect it. Rays red wheel nuts. Standard mirrors in silver. Standard guards in silver. Freight to Wodonga will be required but I can also collect if anyone is in Canberra as I'll be up that way the weekend after this one. Collection from Melbourne also possible. Cheers
