Doing some more reading, seems to be a LOT of conjecture and I can't seem to find any tried and tested process for using them on an 26 with a PFC and in standard size AFM pipes.

Those R35 MAFs are cheap. Never seen those before. So you mount 2 of those to generic pipes and bolt to the airbox, get some plugs and rewire the loom to suit the plug then tune? How would they go in 65mm pipe though, same as the Nismo ones. As I've got an ARC induction box and will likely stick with that or go a stock airbox.

They do work, I was just forward planning for turbo swap. I understand you "can" go beyond 300kw with standard AFMs, but life is easier with the Nismo units. I didn't think stock AFMs were worth much? Aren't the Nismo one's 4-500 a piece?

Not very expensive vs a can of primer and a can of satin black from bunnings? I wouldn't mind having the twin turbo pipe done also. Want the bay to be mostly black/stealth. Wonder what the arc box would look like black.

Turns out they don't make this in a 12mm for the 34.

I'm liking the idea of the just Jap one as it's zero maintenance.

Wish it came in black, nothing paint can't fix. Would allow me to ditch current catch can setup and use that space for oil filter relocation. Anything concrete on cam baffles?

Are those cans baffled? I assume they separate the oil from the air and allow the oil to drain back into the cam covers?

Just Jap in addition to catch can or that and nothing else?

My newly acquired car has a vented catch can that is unfiltered and leaks oil from the breather unsurprisingly. At the moment both rockers are plumbed together then into the can, the can has only a single outlet which is going to atmo at the moment. I haven't checked PCV as yet but given what I can see in this pic, I assume blocked. I was going to re-attach the atmo connection back to the turbo intake after confirming/fixing the catch can baffling. That got me reading. - Do cam baffles work? The Hi Octane one's look cheap if they help. Used on conjunction with the previously mentioned can plumbed back to intake and baffled. - Hi octane list a separator and a catch can - with a sump drain which I won't be doing. Are both needed on a street car if you have the cam baffles? - Is something like a GZ Vacuum pump going to better than all of this anyway? - Plan is for your basic -9 setup so not huge power and only on the street as I have a track car so does any of this really matter besides making it legal again (plumbing to intake). You had modified -9's? What was done to them? I'd be happy with 340 at 18psi on pump.

Is there some trick to making this fit a GTR? Won't fit my R34. Is there supposed to be a plastic insert inside it?
