  3. That I can't comment on. All I know is it will essentially be a 2560R core (and turbine wheel) with a .64 rear housing and a -5 comp wheel in my .53 Comp housing. To me that all equates to a more responsive -5 but will less top end?
  4. Was suggested to use my R34 .53 front housing instead to avoid working the turbo as hard up top. Any input?
  5. Been offered some turbos, very close to -9 specs. This will be a on a 34. -9 are as below and this reads comp to turbine. Garrett 707160-9 44.46 - 59.41 56T 0.42 42.4 - 53.85 62T 0.64 But what I was offered has 60mm comp wheel and a 53mm turbine wheel. Bigger comp wheel would normally mean more power, but in the same size housing will that mean more response and more power or more response and less top end as it will choke out. Likewise, the slightly smaller turbine wheel tells me a little less response, but flow better top end in the same housing. Any guesses on what the characteristics will be?

  8. My RS-R's did that after 1 track day, I was told it was "normal" and have kept driving on them without issue (lighter car though with less powerz)
  9. Can't hurt to ask, also as the pics I put up are from the previous owner before the guy I got it from, there's no reason to hide anything or lie, as there's nothing to lose. I'm just curious about a few things that only that owner can tell me.

  13. I assume that was sarcasm based on my other thread? Yes I did and it confirmed K's, I'm more interested in how the car was used given the extra goodies I found on it that weren't advertised or obvious during inspection.

  16. Well I'm considering either this or the Just Jap over the cam covers style which uses the PCV still and allows the oil collected to drain back into the rockers.

  18. I wouldn't be tuning it and given what tuning options I have locally will stick with the easiest option as I dont have racepace down the road I might have a chat to some local tuners.
  19. Cheers Still more than just having the standard ones re-done. Postage is free for me (when sending). I also already have the PFC.
