  1. Yep, didn't get a chance to grab measurements last night. Will have a look on the weekend as I'm in the process of moving. Awesome Just need to know caliper clearance now.
  2. Chuck me in that group too with Brenno
  3. Update: I've still got the server and some of the better bits and pieces around (X2 CPU, the boards for it, DDR RAM, the vid cards etc) but otherwise the rest has been binned. If you're still after anything let me know but otherwise this thread can be closed.
  4. Yep you're right I did give old details, woops... I'm happy with whatever rim width will be enough for the 235 semis i'll be getting. I'll take a measurement on the car as to how much clearance there is between the rim and the coilover. I'll see if I can get a disk measurement on the rims that are on it but I'd hazard a guess and say whatever is the worst one to have as these are very cheap nasty rims with crap offsets. I'll get back to ya with some more info.
  5. Hey Niss, what I meant by that is that I wasn't going to even bother asking at NS because it's generally a waste of time. I'd have gotten your first line from 6 different people but nothing saying what extra info I needed then 4 people telling me that I should just go 5 stud conversion lol Now, I think I covered wheel specs with the exception of disk type, I gave rim width, diameter and offset so that's a start lol Is this disk type measurement listed on the back of the rim and if so what form does it come in and I'll grab it off the car. (If I remember it was something like O, R, and A) Thoguh I can't remember which letter was what clearance etc. I was under the impression I'd seen a few Sil's running 8 and 9" rims without guard rolling but it seems to be a case by case basis, no doubt affected by disc type which no-one talks about. I'll try and find out current disc type and will measure front and rear ride height and go from there. Cheers
  6. Agreed
  7. Hey guys, The car in question is a 4 stud S13 but trying to get good info out of Nissan Silvia is too much of a f#$k around, I know that the people on here are more informed, easier to deal with and I'm still a skyline man at heart I've got S15 calipers up front which BARELY clear the current rims which came on the car and are some cheap nasty 17x7" 5 spoke things with a +40 offset. Now if my understanding of this whole setup is right then a I could go +30 or +35 on the next set of rims and that would give me some more caliper clearance (I think rim "disc" is also an issue?) I'll be running up to -3/-4 degrees camber on the fronts and not more than say around -2 on the rears. Currently the tyres are craptastic 215 fang wung chung no name things but I'll be grabbing some 235 wide advan semis before DECA in August. I'm hoping to not need to roll the guard either so rim width could be an issue when combined with camber. Help me get my head around it and buy the right rims. Cheers
  8. Ryan: Payment completed, PM sent.
  9. As a mini update, I'm in the process of confirming address and contact details and I can then file a civil claim. The likely outcome is that the seller will not appear at the hearing, it will be ruled in my favour and a debt will be issued to the seller. The onus is then on me to have it enforced (which I can do through the Sheriff's department for a fee) and depending on what that fee is I might just go for it as the Sheriff's fee's can be added onto the amount collected or items confiscated can reach the total. Even if the end result is still don't have the seats or the money but the seller has also lost out on the money/had some items confiscated I'll be happy with that. I feel strongly that their needs to be consequences to blatant dishonesty. I'll update again when I things have moved along. $500 is not a huge sum I know, but it's the principal of the thing that annoys me the most...
  10. Actually, I've changed my mind, I'm halving the prices on everything and whatever is not gone in the next week or so will either be kept by me (in the case of some of the good bits) or chucked out. Cheers
  11. Side note: I checked my intake pipe and it has a hose clamp on it so it must be a standard T25.
  12. If Leigh comes you won't be.... come on Leigh you know you wanna The only thing serious about DECA is that it's seriously fun (to the power of awesome squared)
  13. As requested Brisbys Vid
  14. Hasn't come through yet but it might be still feeding through the inter-pipes Will check again when I get home in 20 or so.
  15. Legend, so we just rock up, tell'em who we are and pay on the day? Coz we were looking at just staying the Saturday night.
  16. So are we down for a Room through you Bec or do I need to get in touch with the hotel itself?
  17. That was the blue one parked next to me up the top of the pits. I spoke to him late in the day and he said he'd run a 1:39. I dunno about his power but his suspension setup is mint and he was tweaking it all day. What he lacks in outright power he'd certiainly make up in corner speed, 70kW does sound low though.
  18. Dave: Hmm, well see what you can do in the next 2 weeks Ryan: Can you confirm you got my entry? I might change that from a reserves to a full entry, is it as easy as just paying the entry fee and letting you know? I'll go ahead once I've got confirmation from you (or Bec?)
  19. Yeah I can so long as it's not bigger than 10-15mb Email it to me at [email protected]
  20. Update guys, the media centre PC is gone and I'm now going to part out what's here (Except the server) so if you want something in particular let me know as a lot of this stuff is going on eBay now. Cheers
  21. The fitting on the left going from the master cylinder to the brass block was made up by Enzed and is two male 10x1.0mm fittings welded together. I fitted the block in this way as it required the least amount of line bending, the sharper bend in the line on the far right was already there so i just had to bend the line out away from the cylinder a bit more.
  22. Despite note setting a blistering time (this was my first circuit session in the silvia) I had a blast and learned a heap about the car. I started out running about 2mins and got that down to 1:47.9 by the end of the day through a combination of feeling more confident behind the wheel, trusting the new brake setup more and winding in as much camber as possible as per Ryan's tips. Also, I'll be getting hold of some decent rubber shortly, if only to stop people telling me that I could take X seconds off my lap time if I wasn't running Wan Li street tyres lol Thanks to everyone who was involved in organising the day and a quiet thanks to Justin for not having too much of a go at me for continuing to go way too hard after the checkered flag, thankfully I didn't do any damage with that big off at the end of the day As usual, the night was just as enjoyable though I felt bad for Bec having to wait so long for her food! As an aside, I'm not drinking any shots that come from Campbell... Given the car survived... I'll see some of you at DECA
  23. No worries but it'll have to wait, the car is getting aligned ready for the track tomorrow. Will grab some pics when I can which shouldn't be too long as I wanna take some pics of the bumper after I added my own vents
  24. I've got black race tape, would a few strips of this making an X over the lights be enough?
  25. I'm using a T piece on a BM50 (S15) master cylinder in my S13 now, works fine. I had enzed make me up a male to male bolt 10x1.0 and I used a 3 port female block (the T piece) then gentle bent my brake lines to fit into the remaining two ports.
