  1. Yeah they were great about it and said the spec for torque is halved on the new stickers. Basically finger tight. They had a new one ready to go for me just in case. Top notch service.
  2. Champs at local battery place fixed it, will fit it tonight. Ordered spacer kit as I couldn't be sure of 1 size working. Will fit that tomorrow night. Assume I need to cut down standard studs to fit it?
  3. He's suggesting this and said line size will be a restriction before the filter is. https://www.aeroflowperformance.com/fuel-systems-efi-accessories/fuel-filters/inline-filters/af610-05blk
  4. My aeroflow guy is coming back to me with a part number/specs.
  5. Ideally just want to make one trip back. Not go in, test without filter, no success, come home, buy more shit etc. The workshop is small so cars cannot sit there waiting for parts and given it's a 2wd dyno means front drive shaft out each time. Thanks for the input, seems the earls and similar are cheap enough anyway.
  6. @Dose Pipe Sutututu can confirm, plenty other cars doing more power on standard filter. I'm not opposed to changing it, but when others don't need to, it makes me question it. I am happy to put a new one in there either way as it's been a while on 85.
  7. Hmm OK, I'm in two minds about the filter as plenty of others seem to make bigger power with the standard filter in place. Would have been good to know if just a new standard filter would have solved your issue.
  8. Interesting. Do you still have the damper in place or removed it already? What filter did you use? What problems were you having?
  9. Swear to god I was gentle. You cannot write this shit 0_0 Yes I did swear. Speaking to the place I got it from today to see what can be done, didn't want to stuff around with it anymore last night. May buy the GKtech spacer kit also, bolt on with various combo options, as it will give me more clearance up front to run more camber, and then later if I wanna use those other 9" rims up front (which have a worse disc type) I can use the kit to clear the calipers. Being able to run RS-RR in a 255 would be cheaper than running a 235 proper R-Comp and they last longer also. Unless better idea? As for alignment, it had these settings at one point and felt decent. Front/Camber/ToeDriver: -2.75/1mm toe outPass: -2.75/1mm toe outRear/Camber/ToeDriver: - 1.3/1mm toe inPass: -1.3/1mm toe in That was with stock swaybars. The whiteline front bar and GTR rear bar seemed to upset it and made it burn up the outside edge of the tyres (or was I just going faster and didn't have enough camber? dunno). So now with roll centre adjusters up front and maybe a touch more camber, with a softer rear swaybar and the whole subframe and diff swap. I'm thinking maybe a touch more camber both ends but otherwise change nothing else - though I have castor rods now too so max front castor. Guard clearance may also be an issue so we'll see what happens. Tyres will stay the same, old RSR in 235, no budget for fresh ones atm with silvia tune/GTR bill etc.
  10. I'm pretty sure other people are making more power without any of that stuff around. I'll remove the damper in the tank, put a fresh filter on (as it's done 1000k's on e85 now so worth changing for safety I hear) and see where that gets us.
  11. Alignment hopefully done Friday morning. Thinking I will grab some bolt on spacers preemptively to ensure I can get mad front camber. Tuner tentatively booked for Monday. The event on June 4th is now sold out, but no 2 on reserve list. See how we go.
  12. When I say generic, I just mean a Ryco from Repco. Pretty run of the mill. Is the Nissan one going to be any different really? or just a Ryco/Dayco/Bosh in a Nissan box lol
  13. Has been discussed with Kelford and Tuner, will go back...

  15. Josh isn't cool with it and I hate the noise. Just for something different I'll take it off the road for a while and spend more money on it...
  16. Fuel filter huh... It's new, but just a generic one. It has been about 1000ks on e85 now, I wonder if it's full of gunk? Best option for replacement?
  17. Seems like the first step. Just shitful job to remove pump again. Brace out, back seat out to get to attessa ecu plugs, etc etc
  18. R34 GTR Stock cams -> Kelford L182A Cams + BC Springs.
  19. Tuner said clearances were 14 and 16 (thou). Kelford said cam specs are 10 and 12. So, pros and cons? Risk of damage?
  20. Haven't removed to inspect yet. Did the same setup in the Silvia without issue. Have run direct feed to battery via relay, relay is trigger by standard fuel pump relay trigger. All with suitable gauge wiring.
  21. Good to know. Seems others are making up to 450rwkw with these pumps and I found reference on here to that inline valve causing tuning issues for someone else before. Will start by removing that, might be a cheap fix yet
  22. Looking at other threads on here, people saying these can support 450rwkw? Has been suggested that I remove this pressure valve and bump base fuel pressure to 3.5. Any issues with that? Would be great to not have to get into the tank again though..
  23. RB26 loud valvetrain - Vid inside. Picked car up from tuner, now has BC springs and Kelford L182A cams. Valve train is noticeably noisier, can be heard in cabin. Tuner states he checked all clearances and "A few thou looser than before, but all within standard spec". He said he doesn't mind the clearances to be a little looser as a loose tappet is a happy tappet or something like that. I can have it reshimmed, but of course more time/money. Pros and cons of loose/tight clearances?
  24. Replace 460LPH Walbro with? RB26, maxed out the 460LPH Walbro at around 500rwhp on e85. They are rated to about 600hp (assuming flywheel so seems about right). Want something in tank and looked at this: http://walbrofuelpumps.com/walbro-485lph-fuel-pump-high-pressure-tia485-2-f90000274-universal-e85-ethanol-ti-automotive.html Given the car has -9s and is almost done as far as turbos go, I only need enough to stop it leaning out and run a touch more boost. Does that pump really support another 150hp? Are there better in tank options available? Given I already have it in there, wiring would be direct swap over it looks like. Yes I have the pump direct fed from battery (with relay triggered by standard fuel pump wiring). Thanks all
