  1. Are stock bolts capable of 400rwkw? If no, then replace. Given the driving style I'd worry more about balance/harmonics/oil pump strength etc. Unless the rod bolts are a known weak point? Got a good balancer for it?
  2. The GT-R battery is no different. I have a cTek and comfort leads on both batteries
  3. They do not like being fully discharged, that's how I killed my last one.
  4. Splitter finished, car pretty much ready for the 9th. Saved 4kg in the end. Flex seems ok, see how it behaves on track. Can add some minor bracing if need be. Praying for good weather.
  5. Which is why ideally I'd like a car with that done. Worth spending a bit extra for something a little more complete. Easy enough to turn power down.
  6. Good value battery. I use the 20 in my Silvia.
  7. What becomes a reliability issue at higher power levels?
  8. Again, awesome feedback. This is the stuff I need to know. Yeah clublevel sprints.
  9. Is that really enough grunt to be decently competitive though. I know they use it well but you see most developed cars pushing high 200s on 98 at least. I wouldn't have thought that would be a stretch?
  10. So no advantages over IX then.
  11. 4B vs 4G and manual vs SST, what's the consensus? IS the newer gear better but more expensive or is it just more expensive with no performance benefit?
  12. Haha love it. Unfortunately open wheelers drive in their own class and I can't drive with my mate's Golf...wot..
  13. Cayman not super grunty and more expensive than other options.
  14. I don't take offense, I just get a laugh at the hypocrisy. All good, I am a well known procrastinater and horrifically indecisive so the frustration is well deserved lol
  15. Both gears and get them adjusted on the dyno. Usually it's a few degrees advanced on the intake and a few retarded on the exhaust. Port matching is fine, just don't open the ports too much. Get a pod box.
  16. Selling 34 is an option. Makes more sense to have a better track car where I can actually enjoy the speed safely and legally. You guys make me laugh, discussion seems to upset you, but you still participate? Sadists? Has been some good info for me from a few of you so thanks for that. I always enjoy the salt too lol #bravery #discussionfreezone
  17. A mate in my car club was telling me the secret is 2 stroke oil in the fuel. He's been running the same 13b for quite a while.
  18. Wild would be a series 8 FD with a big single on it Which I would also love..
  19. Oh and if you want ultimate response get rid of the Tomei cams and get some cam gears only. The best you will achieve with aftermarket off the shelf cams is almost matching response and better top end. The only way you will get better response from a cam is a custom job with mad lift and no extra duration. I have kelford L182A (with -9s, N1 manifolds, big dumps and exhaust and e85) and we basically matched response but with much more mid range and top end grunt. I will also add, and this is an unpopular opinion, if you want response and are going to run the -9s at higher boost, get pods. I gained 14rwkw and response was better moving away from the factory 34 airbox and apexi panel.
  20. See this is what I need, people who have driven both. Yeah I don't see being able to order parts from the U.S. as being remotely similar to driving 10mins to one of the 3 Nissan Import dismantlers here and grabbing what I need. An Evo would also be a step away from that. This here is Nissan country son.
  21. Not to confuse porting with port matching.
  22. I might just open each post with a sarcasm tag [emoji6]
