  1. What have you tried to get it off with? They often are very tight and hard to break the seal on - even harder if someone has put glue on them. I have had to use a long bar to break the seal on mine the first time I took them off.
  2. Why is the car not repairable? It looks like the roof is still straight, what is the floor like? I just purchased a new rear quarter panel from Nissan for $500 for my R33 GTST so panels are available for them.
  3. That manifold does look the goods! I cannot wait to hear this thing fire up.
  4. Where are you located - if in NSW I will take the front reo.
  5. Payment made - check your PM for details
  6. I have wanted one of these for a long time for my GTR. If John has finally got some more made then you had better put me down for one.
  7. I still want the front reo - looks like between GODZILA and me you have the front bar and reo sold. You just need to work out the prices for each part.
  8. They look good in the attached pictures - would be cool in a white R33. Good luck with the sale.
  9. How much do you want just for the front reo without the front bar?
  10. I mate I have a R33 GTS-T auto diff 4.363 ratio with ABS from a car that had done about 80k that you can have for $350.

  12. Replacement stickers in English are available on ebay from a seller called "firesportau" for about $10
  13. This is what you need a cool carbon fibre wing from the Brett Stevens sale. This would match the colour scheme and really do the trick. Brett_Stevens_Wing.doc
  14. I have made no change to the tune at all - it is still the V Power Racing tune. This mix is very similar to V Power Racing with a similar RON which is why the tune works. I use a 25 litre jerry can that I simply mix 20 litres of BP Ultimate with 2 litres of E85.
  15. That front splitter for the Silvia is very similar to what Sydneykid has on his R32 with the exception that he has a brace that runs along the rear edge of the aluminium plate to provide additional support and rigidity. If you can generate a static amount of front downforce from a splitter and canards then you can use an adjustable rear wing to make adjustment to the front to rear balance of the car to suite different tracks.
  16. You have PM
  17. The only way to go is BP Ultimate and E85 on a 10 to 1 mix. My GTR was tuned for Shell V Power Racing 100 RON and by changing to this mix on the same tune I picked up 10 kw and the car runs cooler. E85 is a good cheap octane booster that really works.
  18. I have always run smurf blood in my R33 with no issues. I would suggest that there is too much oil in the box. Park the car on a level site and remove the filler plug on the side of the box to drain out any excess oil.
  19. R32 GTR and GTS-T boot lids are interchangable as the shape of the boot opening is identical - my son is running a GTR boot lid on his GTS.
  20. They look amazing - something very different. What sort of note will they make? Do any of the V8Supercar teams run these mufflers? Some of the teams (DJR for one) have a very different note to the others. I will have to call around and check them out.
  21. I have previously discussed this with Sydneykid who conducted some tests with his R32 race car regarding this issue. The undertray assists the aero under the car and helps draw heat out of the engine bay - his car ran hotter without it installed. Leave it on.
  22. The best upgrade is to install a R33 power steering pump. They are a single pump that just works the front steering as on a R33 HICAS is electric and they are less than half the weight of a R32 twin pump. You should be able to pick one up easily from a wrecker or on this forum.
  23. As a car for someone who is on "P" plates a R32 with a RB25 would be a good option. You will get good handling and brakes with reasonable power in a chassis that you can upgrade with GTR parts. What you must understand is that R32's are not new cars and you can expect to have small things go wrong with them as things wear out due to age. If you are mechanically minded then is will not be a problem but if you are not then some costs will be coming your way. It will really boil down to the condition of the specific car that you are looking at. Good luck.
  24. I purchased front ball joints from Pedders for my son's R32 for about $40 each (should also fit a R33). They were a simple press out press in installation - very easy way to save a fortune. This is one area that Nissan is really trying to rip everyone off by selling complete arms.
