    its like tinting privacy glass, its fine, just darker. there are no rules to tinting it. you can spraypaint it black if you want. i cant imagine it would crack, just tint it.

    yeah im very dubious about how those ebay things will look in real life. even top gaiters can be hit and miss, i got a gearstick boot which was a bit off. good condition genuine parts almost always look best unless your spending propper money of good materials made to fit. and if your doing something customer i would always go for good material. like alcantara or flocking a dash mmm
