  1. Call them, don't just mention them. have a discussion about everything that happened in full and honestly and get their guidance. make a decision from there. do you have a used vehicle contract with anything incorrect or misleading on it? do you have any email correspondents which have misleading information on them? these will be the reason to cancel a contract easily. also .. forget warranty on our old imports, realistically its just something you need to understand that grey imports your on your own.
  2. sell me the steering wheel, buyers dont like steering wheels
  3. What's the motor your building?
  4. good fitment there
  5. adelaide car scene is a good place to be atm recently we have had some massive cruzes, well organised and no real dramas. Slowlife + highrollers Slowlife + AFSR Jafs last cruze Ben Simpson memorial to name a few big ones, different forums still doing regular cruzes. i think SAU-SA needs to have another summer cruze
  6. hi all Has anyone ever had work done at Paul Pavlou Motors in Thebarton? http://www.paulpavloumotors.com.au/ Now, i have seen some of the work coming out of there which as far as i know is top notch, allot of high end cars like old school muscle, race cars such as drag cars and gt40s ect and high end work and retunes on new v8s and HSV ect with in house dyno tuning. luckelly for me there close to work. now, i have seen a few high end imports go through there too such as 34 GTRs and other gear, expensive looking gear. oddly i cant find them referenced on this forum or almost any other from google searching ect. im expecting them to be expensive but thats just my guess, anyone know there workmanship, are they experienced with an RB26 and tuning jap gear? let me know if you have used there services and if you would recommend them over the well known SA tuning joints. thanks for your time.
  7. ok i got allot of things i need, i do however need a stock R32 GTR exhaust sa preferable due to size
  8. they're really not expensive.
  9. oh there different people, i assumed you still drove in and the same guys looked at the car?
  10. the little birdie told me Sturt
  11. a little birdie told me that you can still get ID checks for sa completed at specific police stations. not sure if this would make it easier or if its easier to just hit the pits
  12. also obviously preying on the P platers http://www.uniquemotors.com.au/stock/1998-nissan-skyline-r34-gt-t-3389/ 98 34 GTT (180000km) ok higher ks yes $12990 http://www.uniquemotors.com.au/stock/1998-nissan-skyline-r34-gt-3360/ 98 34 GT (115000km ) $19000 even with the km difference thats a big price difference from a gtt - gt for the kiddies
  13. ok so it looks like i have found the right car, which seems to be one of the first i looked into which gives me a better feeling about it. one more quick question, the cars in Vic and currently registered. the vic rego means nothing to me as it gets lost when transferred to SA reg. but, does the car need to be registered to transfer to SA or does it make no difference, as in is it the same process of ID check (and maby the other roadworthy checks) weather its regoed or not. does having NO current rego bring up any more processes?
  14. my bet would be dry solder, but as said, easier to check the other end first.
  15. stock struts and stock airbox purchased.
  16. might take you up on that depending on which gtr i buy. might need to invest some money into stock brakes and then revert and resell, maby.
  17. one vehicle which looks interesting, whats your opinion on these issues for sa compliance... button clutch --- do they care about clutches? r33 gtr rotors using Uas caliper adapters to fit larger front rotors --- is this an issue? Brake master cylinder stopper --- i cant imagine this being an issue but ..?? Apexi safc ---- is this something that can be disconnected for compliance reasons (and driven veeeeery carefully on stock computer)? New wheels 18 x 9.5 (offset unsure looks about +20, on the limit of inside the guards) w semi slick tyres --- not a chance with the tires... but the wheels?
  18. i went to a dodgey guy, i say dodgey just becuase he gassed it up and said if it leaks out just come back and well look for leaks then. even i just thought why not just fix them now. funny thing was it never leaked out. well 1 year later still worked so maby super slow leak
  19. yeah, hoping they dont but being realistic an r32 gtr they are likley to look. i want to be in the situation where they see a basically stock tidy car, pop the bonnet for the id check and see a stock tidy engine and move on. if ti was me and i saw pods, exhaust and aftermarket wheels which need checking i would start looking for more shit. plus i like the idea of a clean tidy car with minimal mods. my intentions is to build a mildly modified car as close to if not keeping it legal, stock airboxes which have perfect power applications. suspension which is legal and decent like bilstines, high flowed stock turbos decent no headaches good flowing exhaust ect
  20. i still have bc spanners free if someone wants them
  21. Jin, im confused, are you asking a question or answering one? i thought you were asking for a car but it seems your suggesting a vehicle??
