  9. Did you fit them yourself...if so how'd you go..? Also very interested to see HP figures make sure you post em up
  10. Hmmm...I have a BA Falcon company car.....dont the wheels on these fit the R32 GTR? And if so how cool will I look in the company car park with R34 GTR wheels on my BA
  11. Anyone done it...? I was told I cannot...17's is the largest I can go... I thought it was factory size +2 was max allowed hence making 18's ok....or is it Factory +1....? I have a mate that has new 17" rims and tyres on his 33 GTS-T will these fit my 32 GTR OK for the pit inspection...? If not anyone in WA with 32 GTR and good tyres want to swap wheels for a day
  12. Could'nt agree more which is why I may just get my local exhaust shop to knock the front pipe up. So the HKS /Trust...whatever ones from Nengun are a fair bit cheaper then...!
  13. These are the CES ones...look alright, anyone got a price yet..? I'll email tem when I get home if not.
  14. Got another 10yen, a packet of Soy Sauce, and the Keys to a Yamaha motorcycle out of mine today!
  15. Well looks like the 33 GTST is running away with it still...... Maybe i'm just suffering from that syndrome where once you buy a new car you notice them everywhere on the road.....only this time on the forums...!..?
  16. Argghh...crap Hows this: If anyone has delt with the HKS Twin Extention kit (BNR32,BCNR33, BNR34 Part No 1418-RN005) then you will know how good the qualitly is. Hard Core steel built to withstand the harshest punishments from those HKS Turbos. Unlike the HKS Extention kit which are two small pipes that bolts onto the turbos then they are attached to the frontpipe which is made from a thinner metal, these Greedy Extentions pipes start where the HKS pipes finish and continue all the way to the cat still using the high density steel as HKS does. Trust Has tested these Extention pipes to handle over 700PS. Product Code Price Delivered * 11920300 AU $ 893.65 AU $ 1,112.55 Extention Front Pipes 80mm Compatible with Nissan - Skyline R32 GTR - BNR32
  17. Ok heres my Noob question for the day.... Would this item below be all thats required to replace my Standard Dumps and Front Pipe? http://www.nengun.com/catalogue/product/85 Would it bolt up to standard turbos for now, and then bolt up to say a pair of 2530's or GT-SSs that I may fit infuture..?
  18. Argghh yes if only I could have half the money back i've spent on cars over the years I'd be a rich man! As for the spending money on GTRs debate..well they are no more unreliable than any other 12-15year old car...the thing that tends to make people focus on them so much is: 1. The type of owners (Like ourselfs) that they are attracting now, and what we want from them. 2. When something does break, parts are generally a more expensive, plus they have all the bells and whistles such as 4WD, 4WS, ABS, Twin Turbos etc etc which makes them difficult and expensive to work on. As to the original question on Turbo options, heres one for you, you can have your existing Turbos rebuilt with Machined housing, steel T28 Wheels and steel shaft for around $1200ea mark (Taking them off yourself) I'm considering this option ATM, as have had great sucess in the past with this arrangement.
  19. From the pic it does not appear to have a clear coat applied, you can check with a bit of cut n Polish, if it comes off on the rag grey then no clear coat...if no colour on the rag then it has a clear coat and needs to be cut back. If it does have a clear coat, try (on a small patch) getting some 1200 wet n dry and with a hose pipe trickling over it rub in circular motion until you can see your face in it (Mirror), then when dry polish with cutting compound, should come up looking like the rest of your car, if so continue on with rest of bonnet
  20. I have been lurking these forums for Many years now, but only since buying my GTR have I become more active. When I first started lurking the forums it seemed everyone had an R33 GTS-T, now (Judging by the amount of related threads) it seems the R32 GTR is the most popular thing around........? My Moneys still on the 33 GTS-T but I think the 32 GTR will give it a run for its money So which do you drive, if you have a few which is your 'Main' 'Favourate' or 'Toy'.
  21. Ewww...that Black ones horny lookin! Morgs is yours Green? If so I was lookin at buying a Green one looked sweet but did'nt think it was factory colour and did'nt want to take chance on resprayed car......although ended up with one anyway! Looks like a clear coat has not been applied / rubbed back and Buffed yet....?
  22. How hard is it to change the Dumps (from Underneath) when the front pipes have been removed...? As my GTR only has a Cat back Exhaust and I'd like to do both at same time if possible... And whats the general consensus on getting an exhaust shop to make up some bigger front pipes for the R32 GTR...? All these 'Bolt On' parts are new to me yet I've had no problems in the past with Local Exhaust shops exhaust systems..!.?
  23. BTW Rev210 had you been boosting your Turbos? Or did this happen on standard boost..?
  24. I use ATS in O'Connor. He rebuilt, Hiflowed, and put bigger (t4) comp and exhaust wheels on my old VLT T3, lasted years (Still Going) & performed very well (340rwHP on 14psi) was about $1100 to perform. Cant imagine it being any more $$$ to do similar to a GTR Turbo. I rang him last week but he is on Holidays I beleive...?
  25. Hey Maverick I did check yours out and it to appears to be in Smick condition also(Definately not a POS!) I got lucky with this one, its real neat, importing is always a gamble but honestly I would have been very happy with anything that was'nt a Lemon / POS. Heres a few pics of the motor...
