  1. I would never have a GTR as a daily driver 1. I'm getting what appears to be about 400kms per tank ATM......but its stock, a few mods and that'll soon drop to 250-300, which is not feasible for running to work and back. 2. The more you modify it the less driveable and comfortable they become, ie coilovers and Button clutches....I like my creature comforts after a hard days work 3. I do not feel comfortable leaving it anywhere....for fear of theft (Whole car or Parts) or parking dings and dents. 4. Combination of above speeds up the want to sell it and get something different.... No the GTR will only ever be a toy for me.... Get yourself a nice daily driver, something cheap to run with a few creature comforts...myself I have a nice cheap 2002 TJ Magna, with auto, cruise, air dumped on 18's for daily duties, save your GTR for fun....it'll take you much longer to get sick of it....plus they stay nicer for longer
  2. Just had mine tinted today and I've forgotton already what the percentages were I Think the legal was 35% light transmission, 15% is a common illegal light transmission film. I went the legal tint this time.....sick of unwanted police attention
  3. Excuse my ignorance But what do they use to restrict boost, and how is it removed...?
  4. Had a few 'Smaller' things from Nengun now....nothing has attracted the tax yet...all has been marked 'Gift'. Awaiting arrival of Exhaust system from them however....that will be more of a test!
  5. Gettin close now You've got the little Nismo lip to I notice Plus a good zoom on your camera!
  6. I'm impressed Photos look supurb! 10/10 dood
  7. When I was a boy I was given my first car by my Parents....a 6 year old 4 cyl Commodore I bought my next 30 odd cars Finance was sooo much harder to get back then than it is now, which is why you see so many young guys driving flash cars Plus living at home helps
  8. Jase: sounds like you may be lucky Nick: Your not leaning out and blown the bridges from your spark plugs....?
  9. Argh yes....the PFC uses the original Loom plug......sorry i'm used to running Wolfs and Injec aftermarket ECUs which don't
  10. Sounds like you may have spun a bearing Jase If so you can still save your existing motor, just need to machine crank, and get resized bearings. Used to be a regular occurance on my SR20, knock knock knock as you rev
  11. Sorry I'm confused Attached to what...? So you cannot cut the speed limit wire as it makes the HICAS etc go crazy, but if you pull the original ECU out of the car to replace it with PFC, what then is this wire connected to..? And if nothing, how is that different from just cutting it..? I will grasp the concept soon I promise
  12. Not much help to you Sambo 33, But put my factory 32 GTR Floormats in my washing machine the other day and they came up a treat.......and smell good to boot!
  13. So if I fitted Power FC what would then happen to this wire.....as I thought the PFC replaced the factory ECU...? And no Lucien you cannot look after my car

  15. Hmmm...have to do something! With only a Boost increase you'd be close to hitting the limiter before the end of 400m
  16. Well the speaker install went extremely smoothly Removal of door trim nessacary but very easy, front speakers needed plastic edges (bout 5mm) cut off each corner to allow flush fitment. Rear speakers requires removal off back seat and parcel shelf (again Piss easy) 6.5" rear speakers fit straight into factory holes. Sound: Obviously far superior to previous weather beaten ripped ones (although they were Alpines), Kenwood MP3 Deck has ample power to run them and is quite loud, louder infact than the Factory system in my BA, but still dosnt offer the low down bass of the BA. All up $260 for the Kenwood MP3 deck and $219 for all the JBL speakers you cant really go wrong
  17. Had a bit of a play last night with an 04 STI WRX. Top of 4th I hit what I thought to be the rev limiter, no worries, change to 5th....still on some sort of limiter...which I am presuming is a speed limiter..? That sucks...how do I get rid of it...?
  18. Fixed It was what I meant to write...just didnt happen that way
  19. Vspec: BNR32004698 Regular: BNR32004698AA I think all R32GTRs have cooling fins on the rear diff housing
  20. Bought some of these yesterday gunna have a feed then fit them up Can you just remove the grille from the door panel itself rather than remove the whole door panel itself to fit them..?
  21. Exactly my plan
  22. If you boost up any car so its producing 50 - 100% more HP than it had when it came from the factory and use that power you are still going to break and have to fix things no matter what the car trust me I tried explaining that to the dood that bought my old 'Immaculate' 340rwHP 31, he said he was sick of spending money on cars...I said maybe this is not the vehicle for you then...sure enough 3 days after purchase 1 x Blown gearbox (I never had a problem with the box in 3 years!) If your in the car modifaction game (as most of us here are) you boost your cars up drive them fairly hard things will break simple. The thing with the GTR is they cost a little more when they do go bang.
  23. Until of course you have 250rwKW+ then theres only a small percentage of vehicles that will beat you
  24. Mines 'totally standard' bar a cat back 3" exhaust and pods and i'm pleasantly suprized at how well it goes in a straight line, should hold its own against most factory cars. Certainly a big jump from your previous Lazer But dont get to excited as there not that fast, and theres still plenty of cars out there that will smoke you (and Me!) And IMHO its not a good look getting smoked in a GTR as generally people expect them to be quick and win...be selective who you race
  25. Thx dood.....needs a fair bit more TLC yet until shes sparkling clean BTW, I take back what I said earlier in thread regarding tramlining....drove my Car last few days with factory wheels and as new tyres, did'nt tramline hardly at all. Turns out its my Dodgy 'worn on inside' tyres that were to blame, maybe the extra width didnt help either, but whichever it currently borders on the dangerous...!
