  1. I know this has been covered several times, i did search but i couldnt acctually find any info that was useful. So theres a couple of things i want to know. -What Gearbox cross member is used? 33, 32 or what? and does it need to be modified. -When making a custom tailshaft, what have people done in the past? i wish to retain a two piece shaft, can someone give me the measurement in length for the front section? ( i dont have the box or motor in the car yet and i want to get a shaft made up beforehand) -Does the shifter line up in the exactaly the same place as the RB20 box? -What shifter is best to use? I dont have my RB20 box anymore (had a CA shifter in it anyway which was shorter) shoudl i use a 33 one or what? cheers all! Simon
  2. Hey kids, bit of an Update.. i bit the bullet and sold the RB20 package to a local and bought an RB25 front cut! So very soon it will be residing in the car with some performance goodies to go with it. Got a clutch to go in straight away before the motor goes in the car, then a Sliding Performance turbo, ecu and a few other goodies... Once ive finished with it it should make around 250-270 rwkw. is niiiiiice

  5. After a stock seat with rail in reasonable (doesnt have to be perfect) condition in SA/Adelaide. Will pick up. Cheers Simon
  6. if its leaking from the top then its the rubber O ring where the access hole is at the top of the tank. easy fix. otherwise its going to be perished fuel lines.. also at the top of the tank
  7. mate that would be awesome if you could do a quick write up of which RB25 loom wires/colours/functions go to which R32 Loom wires. Cheers for the links too
  8. Yes i have searched... spent a fair bit of time in fact but could not find any articles on wiring, plenty of info on the swap but not the wiring. So is anyone able to help me out with accurate info on how to wire the 25 into the 32? Im after detailed info on what needs to go where. Cheers Simon

  13. you might have a problem with the pump or a leak in the line... Are you losing fluid? Correct way to bleed is with car running, on the ground, fill it up and get someone to sit in the car and turn the wheel lock to lock for a while, all while you keep topping up the fluid,

  15. i cant wait to drive the car with more power and torque! lol RB20's are great motors, i love em, but they have their downfalls, lack of midrange being one of them!

  17. Its rego'ed but that doesnt really matter. PM me Also, ECU, Loom and various parts will not be seperated off the motor package, Turbo wont be either AT THIS STAGE unless i decide otherwise down the track. Cheers Simon
  18. they dont even look alike, the 33 box is huge in comparison. 31 gtsx box is same as R32 RB20det box.
