  1. geeze they are expensive hey, spewing mine broke, but i reckon i might just leave the look of the lights and just drive the thing i got my package from Japanese Motorsport in adelaide... $3500 i paid, came with everything, and the motor was mint, the engine bay that it was sitting in was one of the cleanest ive seen! when i got the motor home i went right over everything and there was hardly any dirt on it, seems to be a real genuine low kms motor!
  2. yes and you will find that its easier to jack a car up with skirts then it is to raise it on a hoist... i know thats the case with mine anyway lol
  3. ive got one, pm me with an offer.
  4. Need a throttle cable asap please. will pay for postage, im in SA. Cheers Simon
  5. yes... you need a 80mm hole saw and a drill... make a hole for the pipe to go through. theres really no other way about it
  6. HAR HAR delux.. yeah loving the 25... pity i cant drive it yet waiting on tail shaft. so yes... anyone at all have a seat? JMS want a whopping 150 PER seat... where as Z imports want 70 per seat.. but have no passenger ones in stock
  7. i made 225 rwkw with slide highflow, stock injectors, stock afm, just a remap ecu (cooler, fuel pump upgrade and exhaust) so yes... stock injectors will support 200 rwkw easy
  8. already done that, thats how i know the wiring is right since i earthed out the connector from the sender (took it off first) and the gauge reads full. sensor may be busted... but i have had the multi meter on the sender and it reads around 150 ohms resistance with the motor running for about 15 mins... so i have no idea if that means operating temp or what... since the dash gauge reads full with 0 ohms... so i assume the lessere the reading the hotter the temp?
  9. Need a power steering belt.. most likely for an RB20 since im using the rb20 pump on my rb25... so does anyone know the part number? Dont ask me to look on my belt since i dont have one
  10. Keen to know what the resistance valves for the dash gauge are for the rb25 are. Ive put a 25 into my 32 and i cant get the dash gauge to work... its all hooked up to the right wire. Have had the motor running for quite some time and the temp gauge just wont move. So the single pin blue/black wire that goes to the dash.. what reading does it out out at cold temps and at operating temps.. does anyone know?
  11. thanks mate, your site is pretty useful! i had a read through there and it pretty much confirms my thoughts that pink = power and black was neg.. however it doesnt match up with the wires i have remaining... unless i put the pink from the solenoid to the pink from the avcr plug, and then the black from the solenoid and splice that into the brown that goes to the pressure sensor... would that work? Cheers Simon
  12. hey mate rear guards are flared out... just not heaps.. not easy to do on a 4 door trans conversion was done by inark and his mates.. at least thats what ove been told. Anyway all the dodgyness has been fixed now Where did you get a set of the east bear tail light covers from? i brok both mine on the track...
  13. Hey guys, i bought a AVCR cheap that had been in an S14 that had suffered an engine fire... theres a bit of damage to some of the loom that goes through the engine bay but i have chopped that out and soldered in new wires. now the question is with the boost solenoid there are two wires going to it. a Pink and a Black wire. which wires on the AVCR multi pin plug do the pink and black join to? I have three wires currently not connected at the multi pin avcr plug.. they are Orange, Pink and Red... the Red wire is spliced into the main red power supply that comes from the ECU...and its an not a factory splice so im assuming that the previous owner has used this power supply to power up a gauge or something.. so yeah. anyone able to tell me which wires are suppose to hook up to which? Cheers, Simon
  14. just got the 25 started :) should have it driveable quite soon
  15. stiffer sidewall mainly... and the look
  16. doesnt mean you cant do it, you could always weld up the wastegate flap then fit an external gate... but this is all a crude way of doing things... at the end of the day, do you need the external gate? unless your running big boost i'd say no
  17. yeah a 25 man, box n all. thought about doing a 30 and i cant be bothered time frame wise, rather just get the swap done and up and running again
  18. i have a 33 box with the speedo drive... i need to get the navara drive lol... also gotta replate that plastic drive behind my dash.. cause its rooted
  19. yup, comp test to be done on a warm engine with all plugs out, testing each cyln at a time while cranking with throttle wide open.
  20. wouldnt be mine lol ive since sold it to a bloke in perth. Ive got a red 32 4 door awaiting an engine transplant atm
  21. ever get your speedo working man? if so what did you use?
  22. you need to take all 6 spark plugs out to do the comp test!
  23. of course. however the power steering cooler is prob a better and more relable option when it comes to drifting. get the 32 cooler or an after market one and use the hicas side of the pump to run it through
