as it turns out i mistakingly hooked up the outlet on the block sandwish plate on the centre of the oil filter... and from there it was looped thro the oil cooler.
swapped these two lines around on the oil filter attachment and then ran it and within a few mins the oil cooler had warmed right up... so now its flowing as it should.
hope no damage has been done :S

geeze... i just did a track day on sat with no real issues.. only thing i noticed was oil pressure was low on idle after hard laps but i put this down to thin oil
i stole this pic... pretty much the same as this. but i think i have it flowing thro the filter first then the core.

Ive got a permacool oil filter relocater kit with an oil cooler in line with it. anyway the lines, filter and fittings all get quite hot.. and you can feel the pressure going thro the lines no worries. esp the ones too and from the oil cooler. However the oil cooler itself is stone cold to touch. even after a few hard laps at the track when oil temps go to 110 degrees its still cold. yet i have oil going too and from it.
wtf?
need to sell some stuff i got sitting round

ive seen engines with major internal damage comp test ok... i remember trent saying on here he comp tested a car that had a chunk missing from the crown of the piston comp test ok.. the point is its not the most accurate indication of posblems. leak down test is however.
if its HG. i'd say rip the head off... ddo a quick head shave. check the manifold gaskets while your at it. check the turbo and wastegate. and put another OEM gasket on and put it back together
drift prac run and done... tested the car with its new found power and its pretty amazing to drive! thanks massivly to Decs from Garage 7 for the tune and fuel system work... everything is so awesome now!
tested two different tyres for SA Motorsports tyres, one being a Kenda KR20 and the other a hercules. so was a little off the pace normally as we we're mucking around with pressures and temps. the Kenda's are great tho.. last ages and decent grip. however i found with the power i have now i need something more otherwise im just left feathering thre throttle trying to gri and get forward speed while slower cars can keep it pinned and pull away.
never the less i had a ball and heres some vids.
and further more fuel for the fire is the fact that my Z32 afm was maxing out at upper rpm limits of 19 psi runs. considering various people had mentioned the actual rwkw limits of a z32 then this isnt too far off the mark...
you know trent from status uses the same dyno... with the same calibrations, and has had similar results on customers cars with a similar turbo set up?
everyones quick to jump on the dyno debate. If we had a drag strip in SA i would seriously consider it... with previous tune of 360 rwkw's i managed a 1:18 flay around mallala in a drift car on street tyres. this was beating 330 rwkw gtr's that were done on a mainline dyno (willall) so clearly some of you need to pull your heads out of your arseholes and face reality that such results possible.
ever think that maybe mainlines read low? I had an RB20 r32 ages ago with a 25 turbo on it with an EEPROM chip remapped. made 148 rwkw on a mainline.. where as on a roller dyno (DD) it made 180 rwkw.. and on the AMM hub dyno made 185 rwkw with the same correction metiod.
