  1. currently on the limit of the z32... didnt even bother pushing 20psi would have made 400 rwkw but yeah... need a bigger afm lol. for now back it off to 16-17 psi and its safe as houses hopefully
  2. sorry.. edited.. my bad its actually 392.. and yes a .63 e85 is awesome

  5. SA Motorsport tyres still does feddy's cheaper then any dealer.. since they are the distributor of federals in adelaide anyway he'll even fit them for free if you buy thro him. http://samotorsporttyres.com.au/
  6. feddy 595's all round mate..cant go wrong! and if you want grip... spend a little extra the 595's are available in a 255/40/17 for 150 ish a tyre.. one pair would last a whole day and give insane grip
  7. its common sense stuff... working lights.. secured battery.. etc craig i ran a pair of federal 595's and they lasted all day with many thrash laps and thats with 350 + rwkw lol... step away from the neutons man they are no good once you start pushing hard.
  8. keep an eye out on the mallala website they will have dates and forms once they have sorted it out.. they usually have 2 a year... its well worth it if your a beginner and want to learn the basics... but anything more then that i'd recommend just keep hitting the track... practice practise practise is the key
  9. we should organise a viewing night as soon as it comes out... who's got the biggest TV lol
  10. Grant: sweet good to see you're gonna slide it... it will serve you well! handbrake should be ok.. was working the last time i saw the track but a good tip is to make sure you use a bit of weight transfer while pulling the handbrake.. if you HB in a straight line it will be a lot harder to lock the rears.. plus its gay that way anyway. Tailem bend is having a prac day on march the 12th which is open to anyone. you'll only need one pair of brand new tyrs and they will last you the whole day and then some to drive home on. from there you'll need fuel, entry fee and so on... theres no reason you couldnt do your first day on a budget of 300-400
  11. WE are back on track at TB RACELINE presents STADIUM DRIFT First event for 2011 will be sat march 12 Full day of practice finishing with comp for best judged PRO + L2 + Street ALSO expression session, drift trains, sponsor rides More info & entries to follow Note 3 rd SA series starts in may
  12. is it filling a catch can at all?
  13. to be honest there doesnt really look like theres anything wrong going by the leakdown and comp tests. sure the leakdown is a little on the higher side but by no means totally f**ked..
  14. Vipec or Power FC. You could drive it.. and just NOT boost it at all.. if your capable of such self restraint. if you plan of thrashing it even on low boost then yeah the motor could certainly blow up.
  15. probably right... but considering what i had before (nothing at all) its gotta be better.
  16. Power steering cooler.. perfect spot for it Showing the solid lines under the car
  17. i made similar power on stock injectors... although with modified FPR (tapped with a hammer) and injectors at 90% duty.... but not far off the mark. to the OP both engines respond well to mods. the 25 does it better tho
  18. want to drive it at a prac this comign sat... so will be a busy as hell week getting it all finished in time.
  19. think i'll try my best to insulate the two cores to minimise the amoutn transferred between the two metals touching. apart from that we'll see how it goes... i have a air duct out of alloy yet to be made yet which should help!
  20. Update! Picked up my car from Garage 7 after getting dec's and the team to do a fuel system in the car to suit E85 and with zero possibilities of issues and this is what it came back with.. twin 044's surge tank. twin feed and hard lines all the way in one piece and bent in all the right places to the engine bay. the Stock fuel rail was modified with two inlet fittings welded on and a single middle return with an Adjustable FPR. very high quality and pro job... cannot fault it.. only messy looking thing about it is my wiring which i did haha. Also got AM Performance to modify my cooler piping to suit my new cooler positioning.. pipe work is much shorter now and everythings safer. I was hoping to run AU thermo's but it looks like there will be ZERO room anyway here's the pics
  21. someones taking you for a ride... just go with a nistune board. install.. remap and away you go
  22. they can be extremally pedantic about it also.. my wife bought a bog stock MX5 from melb and she took it thro for an ID check to get the rego trasnferred and they failed her because the window tint (which didnt look that dark at all really) was 7% too dark..... ffs. had to peel it off and take it back.. what a waste of time
  23. Got a pair of these sitting around that i need to sell. they are my own SMM Drift Knuckles and they work a treat, plenty lock and control with these. $500 $450 for them. Pm me if keen, located in Adel. Can post if need be.
  24. this is the shot of the day for me... duca's jap built jzx100 illegal as f**k. cruising down anzac;s
  25. Dec's does a great job with wiring. he works in the same principle as i do, everything must look and work as factory. I got your msg mate i'll be down next week to come and do it some time. just got to work out when im free
