  1. 400 was at ammrr's hub dyno with no temp correction. 370 with temp correction mode which brings it in lineball with rollers and is what trent from Status uses. get your facts right. it certaily distroys 320 rwkw set ups thats for sure
  2. yeah theres no denying that its tried and tested. plus ITB's are cooler for the purpose of this thread tho.. solids are needed for the rev limit your seeking
  3. for the record im making 370 rwkw (or 400 rwkw on a hub dyno) with stock motor and stock plenumn. mercuary motorsport did a VC commo with a neo motor with 700 + rwhp also stock motor but aftermarket plenumn.. so the power and flow is there. in theory the RPM is there also since its basically similar to an RB26 head
  4. i got no issues with it so far. you can run a 33 GTST greddy plenumn easily enough. plazmaman make a plenum also. stock even works fine
  5. exactally whats wrong with the neo head?
  6. Use a neo head or convert to solid litters. Run some tomei procams and upgrade valve springs and you'll have no probs hitting 9k
  7. motive dvd 11 has teh proofs lukes GTR was taily around that corner backing off or not... and he wasnt backing off lol i should know i was chasing it down. theres gopro footage somewhere of it. its where the wing comes in its own. My wing on max rake was able to firmly plant the rear and keep it stable as where as with no wing it would get loose as.
  8. well its time for an update! Got ARP head studs and a MLS gasket thro Garage 7, Head work was done by Rhemac.. all came up good and back together and running again And then the car went to All Type Crash for some major repairs after Winton Matsuri... the colision with the falcon left the sil panel and door frame pretty bent. The guys down at all type managed to pull it out and bring it straight again and along with a new door you'd never guess anything happened! 3 drift cars.... awaiting repairs! before and all fixed... check out my older pics to see the damage.. i never took any pics when the door and panels were off but it was fair major. looked a lot worse then. its a major feat to see that they managed to pull it out this well.
  9. cases of beer... berr is a currancy in austraia
  10. I need the following ASAP -R32 tailshaft (or just the rear section) -R34 Stock neo turbocharger - in good cond
  11. new challenge. both of you have to beat my 1:18 flat time i posted on my drift car or you're both f**king soft, AND you owe me a night out on the piss back straight is a killer for the GTR... having followed it several times (while distroying the GTR reputation mind you) i noticed its un stable as hell. hopefully the addition of a rear wing will give it some extra stability.
  12. cheap cheap! myself and a decent sized crew will be heading over also... i'll be doing the drift comp so will be awesome to do some driving. I'd do time attack but my car's not developed enough (read: needs expensive brakes) lol
  13. pricks of a thing hey...
  14. possible your nismo isnt close enough to the bottom of the tank? do you want the tank in the boot or under the car? is it still a street car? theres a stack of options available out there.
  15. ARP recommend 80 foot pounds in 3 stages. whats everyone elses thoughts?
  16. mines always been responsive.. even on bp98. its just a heap better now with e85 tho due to more timing. oh and i run 4.3 diff gears. and yeah IW and .6 will mean overboost issues..
  17. ive never understood the idea of preinstalling the studs anyway.... whys the purpose? most motors have locator dowels to position the head and you just drop the bolts down.. any reason why u cant do the same with studs and allen key them up?
  18. yeah... im kinda running the same turbo but ex gated, and i agree.. unreal response and power. makes a tad more then 270 too
  19. well its doable.. i made 288 rwkw at turbotune with a IW AVO rear housing 3071r on my 32.. however the responce time is no better then my current set up on the s14
  20. i'd go the 3076 every time. mqainly becaise the spool difference is minimal and the potential for more is always there. to make 270-280 on a 3071 you'll be pushing 19-20 psi and be on the limits of the turbo. where as the 3076 will do it comfrtably.
  21. dont listen to the guys who have proven results cause you wont do it anyway
  22. i know your suppose to put all the studs in first before putting the head on but i cannot fit the rear two studs and still fit the head over the top. simply niot enough firewall clearance. So my question is can i leave them out, put the head on and then feed them thro and do them up with an allan key hand tight and then put the washer/nut on? i cant see it being an issue but just want to be 100% sure. otherwise i gotta get creative with fitting the head....
  23. Vu: best to speak to andrew directly and discuss what you want to do and he'll be able to give you a price. let him know your interested in a blast pipe from the group buy and you'll get a special price.
  24. certainly valid mate.. im open to any suggestions/thoughts as it is atm. should do some laps with bonnet as it is.. then tape all holes up and do more runs. compare the diff.
