  1. i have never had an issue with it before. pulled a tank out the other day that had been in there for 3+ years and the heat shrink was the same as the day i put it in
  2. cut, solder, heatshrink it and it will be fine. cable tie the wires seperatly if worried about that. what i usually do when joining wires is stagger them. so dont cut and join both nect to each other make one join shorter or further down then the other join. i do this for all kinds of wiring jobs and it makes it neater and a little bit more reliable.
  3. injectors for a neo is easy as piss and wont cost a fortune. no need to change rails either. Just get some siemens deka's in either 60 or 80lb in 3/4 length and then bolt them straight in. you can even use the full length ones also (more common and cheaper) but you need to space the fuel rail up by 12mm, again not hard. I just bought a set of 80lb injectors for $380 delivered. flow matched also.
  4. all that bullshit about mobile phones causing petrol stations to blow up is just that... bullshit. modern phones these days have zero spark producing ability. Furthermore its pretty hard to ignight fuel in some situations... if you lit a ciggy lighter inside a petrol tank it would probably not even light, nore would it ignite anything due to very low levels of oxygen. that said i wouldnt try it
  5. lol who did the job may i ask mitch
  6. yeah never seen or heard of factory rwd manuals. anyway ive got an awd auto... wanna convert to rwd manual... worth my time or not?
  7. that seems pretty normal to me... as oil gets hot it thins a bit and the pressures drop compared to cold start pressures
  8. oops i did mean drain but wrote feed lol. but yeah.. interesting to see they dont run it. its just a blanked off area in the head.
  9. if he is going aftermarket cams then no need for it really. nothing a good set of cams and adjustable gears and some dyno time wont fix in regard to any VCT losses. question tho.. any reasons the neo's dont have VCT feeds on them? is it because they are solid lifters so less oil in head.
  10. well no, there should be a search engine that works half decently... i have NO probelms while searching for threads or anything on ns.com but sau is quite difficult. a google site:serach fuction would be great
  11. both flow rroughly the same amount of air.. but the 25 one will be quieter
  12. switch for light and sender for gauge are in the one and same unit. could be faulty.. normaly with 32's the gauges read false but the light works fine. i'd replace with with another sender unit to be sure.

  14. Gtr's are 11mm where as these ate 14 mm injectors. Won't fit
  15. yeah the BR's are the mid spec... ER's are top of the range. the 8/6 combo isnt too bad.. but if you drive on shit roads i would defo go with a 7/5 combo or even 6/4 and run upgraded anti roll bars. coilovers in a 33 are very easy to install.. all you need is a basic socket kit, a jack and pair of axle stands
  16. it wont bolt straight in no.
  17. 367 rwkw, stock neo motor here. lasted 1 year of full on track use here so i have no doubt it would last a long time on the street. as for mods all you really need is a decent turbo, grab some 60lb deka injectors, fmic, exhaust, coilpack and a nistune (along with supporting mods like fuel pump etc) and with a good tune you'll make power no worries.
  18. motor and box will botl up and you will be able to use same clutch
  19. no they are to suit 20/25 with hydraulic lifters.
  20. sorry i should have mentioned. they are for RB20/25 drop in items. dont wanna split cams and gears
  21. Have a set of 264/8.5mm lift cams from Tighe cams in as new condition (low kms) and adjustable gears to suit. Adelaide SA $550 PM me
