  1. I'll be bringing mine down, so I'll see what happens. I'm also bringing down some bullet cams that I want to place in wheel wells looking a brakes, and under the bonnet, to get some fill for videos.
  2. Did that once, my dog ate the whole block of ice in one go, and then walked around for the rest of the nice whimpering from a slurpie head ache.
  3. There was an interview that I read with Wurz (I think in F1 Racing, can't be sure as my magazines are packed up to move house) that the Toyota engine had less power, torque and driveability than the Cosworth, but the dollars required for the Toyota motor where a lot less than the Cosworth, hence Sir Frank and Patrick Head went for the Toyota.
  4. I assume that you want to know where to get them from? They are available from most motorsport stores, like Revolution Racegear, GMP and JR's Autosport. Places like Meridian Motorsport also sell them.
  5. My kids could, they hand feed the roos (and the goats, wombats, lizards, etc...)
  6. We used to do the Kangaroos in the backyard, Koala's in the trees thing as well. Funny thing is that I have all of that where I live now.
  7. Another alternative is to cut the valve out of the center of a thermostat, and use that as the restrictor in the thermostat housing.
  8. If that was true, I'd have to be refilling my water tanks (I'm on 100% tank water) every fortnight or so, since I haven't had to do so at, I think that those figures are, like most things that come out of the bracks mangement commitee, over inflated hype, backed up by a media hat is afraid to either investigate or report reality. All water is recycled, the water that you drink and bath in has been through kings and queens, scum of the earth, chemical usage, dinosaurs and other animals, in a massive cycle.
  9. Farm Manager, used to be in IT though. Are you doing any work in the Yarra Valley at the moment?
  10. My family used to travel to the US a couple of times a year for Dad's work, and we would go to a lot of dinners and the like relating to Dad's computer company. My sister an I used to challenge the Americans that where on the same table as us to name all of the states and territories of Australia, whilst we'd name the states of the US. we did this about 30 times, and not once did one of the people we challenged (senior management of fortune 500 style companies) succeed in naming all of the states/territories.
  11. Explains it all. Why is the Sky red/blue.
  12. Age, if the first sign of madness is talking to yourself, what does berating yourself equal?
  13. Careful about saying that, as you aren't allowed to run repaired tyres at MS events.
  14. They make sure that the engine coolant and oils are warmed to operating temps, and then they will drive the car in the same manner that they will be driving it. The idea that an engine needs to be babied for the first few 1000 k's to break it in is wrong.
  15. Run it in the way that you'll drive it. The first 1/3 of all the wear on an engine will happen in the first 1000 revolutions that the engine does. You need to load it up fully, and also leave the drivetrain engaged on over run to suck the swarf out of the bores.

Probably cost you more in parking tickets than it's worth Joel.

Sounds like you want it "removed" from there.
  19. I though ART went out of business a while ago, but I might be wrong.
  20. Drivers of a lot of cars like cheater EVO's and Alfa's would be in a lot of trouble, I'd question it.

    Nice one.
  22. If you want to do the driver training, you only have to pay the entry fee for driver training, not both, so for a driver trainer it is $120. You don't get timed in DT, which makes it cheaper.
  23. Comes from having gumballs stuffed in your ears.
  24. The smoke will not be helping, as it lowers the oxygen levels and makes you have to breath harder. The dry heat that we have been having will also dehydrate you a lot quicker, and you will not notice it. I have found that on the hot days that we have been having, I can lose up to 6 Kg's from 9 am in the morning to 7 at night, just from water loss, if I do not drink enough during the day (I tend to drink around 6 liters of water each day).
