  1. Just unplug the crank angle sensor, it's the round metal thing in front of the engine
  2. Would still be worth it as a safety measure. Even injecting just distilled water Just curious as to where one would mount the nozzle on a gtr? On the plenum? Or on the intercooler hard pipe joining to the plenum (that's if you have an alloy pipe there and not the stock rubber one)

  5. im seriously considering a WMI kit as safety measure and hopefuly bring turbos on sooer, how would the SNOW stage 2 performance water methanol kit go in an R32 GTR? is there another kit more suited to these cars? this may be a stupid question, but where do you purchase methanol from?

  12. is engine coming out to do the head? if so i would change: *head gasket to metal type + ARP head bolts *new ACL standard size main and big end bearings (if journals are good) *tomei sump baffles *new rear main seal/gaskets/heater hoses *new turbos + dump pipes all this only if your bottom end is tight and running good compression, its easy for costs to add up, especialy if the motors out you may aswell do as much as you can to prevent future failures

  14. was actualy easy to get off, i just used the long socket extension and at the end of the extension used the ratchet ring spanner to undo it,...worked a treat !
  15. Engine was out last month, stupid for not changing the hoses
  16. Gotta pull the starter out to fix a small coolant leak above the starter. Have herd it's tricky to remove, does anyone here have any tips for removing it fuss free? What tools did you use? Thanks

  18. Why do they knock/click etc when the boot splits and leaks grease?

  20. Actualy just to add, my engine with 073xxx serial number had stock r33 turbos and dumps too, still believe it was a series 3 engine
  21. You may be right, mine had black plenum, black cam covers, normal CAS, so who knows if they were changed and put onto the r34 engine? I've got another one with 055xxx and came from a 95 r33 gtr

  23. Pretty sure engine number 07 is from a late model r33 gtr engine, I had one that started with 073xxx and was a series 3 r33 gtr engine
