  5. Where from? Please post a Business name, contact phone number and showroom address.
  6. I have encountered more setbacks than I care to recount. Starting with an ever-growing modlist, which in turn leads to buying the new parts, which in turn leads to unreliable sources, or unavailable parts. I should have rods and pistons by mid-May, when the car is going in for the work... This is dragging on way too long and it's frustrating the hell out of me Sorry I can't show you any dyno sheets just yet
  7. Wheels??!?!?!!?! Inside job. GUARANTEED. Talk to wharf management.
  8. I'll take photos and email them to you tomorrow dude bump!

  11. Extremely minor kerbing... Nothing that needs repairing. Fully balanced, not used since balancing. SOLD. Pickup in Sydney or shipping interstate can be arranged at buyer's expense.
  12. Not just any bug... That's HERBIEGTR!!!!
  13. Tony, it took you this long to fit them?!?!?! :slap: And I didn't once cop any police harassment about them, even when pulled over for RBTs, so you should be fine.
  14. If SLY33 is doing 13 flats with his GT2530, there's no excusing you from doing 9s with your GT2540
  15. Oh, I'm not saying that it's your fault entirely... Hard rear suspension and 19" wheels don't lend themselves to launching in ANYONE'S books ......but I'm sure that after one drag meeting, you still have a LOT to learn Just ask Buster or any other regular drag racers what his learning curve was if you don't believe me... All I was saying was that with that terminal speed, and the right setup and launch, your car is capable of high 11s
  16. Actually 114mph is good for a high 11 if you learn how to launch your car properly I did a 12.4 @ 114.9mph with 2.01 60 footer with 17" circuit racing tyres (stiff sidewall semi slicks)... That launch still left a lot to be desired too. It's all well and good to say "there is no doubt in my mind that with a set of stockies on the back a 12 should be a gimme", but that's all bullshit talk until you go out and do it... It's eleventy billion times easier to say that sentence than it is to actually go and do it Good job and good luck!
  17. Anything that will prolong my GTR gearbox's life, I'll be in for that. Seems like this "Very Special Additive" is serving our members well so far... I'd like to see some gearbox reports from our members if that's possible. So are we supposed to be adding this Roil Gold to engine AND gearbox? Same product used in both applications?
  18. nah... that would just be going too far :D
  19. Old thread, but oh well
  20. Old thread, but I was bored
  21. 1997 models are usually Series 3 models. If yours is a Series 2 engine, it is more likely than not from a 1996 GTR. Also, Series 1 and Series 2 gearboxes are exactly the same. only the Series 3 gearboxes had updated synchros. and R34 GTRs have 6-Speed Getrags, so no, they're not the same as R34 GTR gearboxes
  22. Let me put it this way. Screamer pipe = exhaust gasses coming straight out of the engine, and being dumped into atmosphere. i.e. It bypasses the catalytic convertor. Say hello to a $10,000 fine for bypassing emissions standards devices.
  23. Very true... Shouldn't be too hard with a digital camera though... Nice headlights btw... Sorry I didn't see this thread earlier, as I had an aftermarket Xenon kit in my old Series 2 GTS-t with no problems with heat inside the enclosure. I love xenons
  24. Errrrr... That's not exactly an accurate portrayal of how bright your xenons are. The thing with photography is that you have such a great deal of control of exposure through shutter time. Joe could have set that frame to expose for 10 minutes and you'll get basically a pure white top half of the photo. Take a look at the rear taillights. They are a good indication of how overexposed that photo is if you are trying to get an accurate feel of what those headlights look like.
