  1. Assuming that they're both brand new, I'll take the front one for $50 or both for $100 depending on how you feel about the above offer from butthead. You'll have to post them to Sydney though... I'll pay postage.
  2. Why would that be a problem? Why can't it be moderated the same way that you stop whoring in the private sales forum? It doesn't make any sense to me that we can reply to private sales threads, but not to business sales threads. If I was a business, I'd want people to be able to reply to my threads, ask me questions and build a report with potential customers... I wanted to ask Dave whether or not he could get other types of Buddy Club wheels, a question that a few other people might be wondering... Why reduce that kind of enquiry to PM when I could ask it in the thread? Why do you think people are more likely to whore in business for sale threads than private ones?
  3. This may not be the best idea mate I suggest you give this item a miss  One thing that's very important, more so on GTRs than GTS-ts is check for rebirthing. The BLUE Nissan Build Plate should have the details PRINTED on it... i.e. If you run your fingers over the details printed on it, it should be smooth. IT SHOULD NOT BE ENGRAVED... If it's engraved, it has a fake Nissan Build Plate with a fake Chassis Number. These are forged and put on stolen cars with a new and legitimate chassis number. This BLUE Nissan Build Plate *should* also have two white plastic rivet-like fasteners holding it on... If they're missing, ask yourself why. The Build plate should NEVER be removed, unless perhaps for a full respray including engine bay...
  4. OHHHHHHHH!!!! I SEE!!!!!!!!!!!!! So it makes my car sound like THIS!!!: http://www.goofyville.com/viewflash.php?na...1car&position=0
  5. So................... It makes my car sound like a bumble-bee?
  6. What exactly does a "gilmer drive set" do?
  7. You really think that Daikin chose a clutch plate material for Patrols that will withstand hard launches? How many people do you see doing high rpm launches in their Patrols? Just because it fits, doesn't necessarily mean that it's suited to the application, is what Daikin is trying to say.
  8. Well franks won't be going, because he's double booked the same dinner I have
  9. Oh shit, I just realised that I've double booked... I have a friend's farewell dinner tomorrow night Can we postpone this dinner?
  10. 17x9... All in great condition, no buckling, minor scratching as per normal wear and tear. $1800 for the set of 4. Will not seperate. [email protected]
  11. Yeah, it's extortion isn't it? Just checking that you realised that they weren't genuine ones... It's all good!
  12. I hope you guys realise that you're bidding on fake GTR badges... They're not Genuine Nissan ones, although the one you're bidding on it pretty close, meshmesh's is completely wrong looking.
  13. Very VERY nice I just got my rocker covers back today too Will take pics now :D
  14. Sure, it can handle 2000hp if driven carefully enough. But why would you build a motor like that and not drive it hard? Would you never drag race it? What's the point? And he's a commodore driver, of course he's going to give it a good thrashing every traffic light. :D OH WOW with exactly what Jaws is proposing (RB30 bottom end, RB25 head, T78 turbo) smashed 2 RB25 gearboxes in 2 weeks.
  15. Yup The RB26 doesn't have VCT so you can fit adjustable cam gears onto both camshafts!
  16. You're squeezing more gas into the same volume... The engine is SUCKING in air and the turbo/nitrous is PUSHING in air... results in greater than atmospheric cylinder pressures before compression... That's what boost is. I see, I see... Interesting!

  18. I did Stage 1 when I first got my licence, and I thought it was pretty good yeah... Just let you get more familiar with your car which is always a good thing! I didn't do Stage 2, but it's an extension of Stage 1, only in the wet so it would be good too... It all depends what you're after I guess... I was after track tuition and a CAMS C3 licence through his Stage 3 and I didn't get what I was expecting... For someone who has never driven on a racetrack before, they'd probably think it was awesome
  19. How did I get personal with it? I never attacked you personally... "I need help"? Sounds like that's a personal attack, but I ain't gonna get my panties in a bunch over it... You've obviously stuck your head into a thread because you could throw your chemistry wand around, but you neglected to have even a BASIC understanding on how the chemicals work in this application.
  20. Hmmmm... Why do you think that the nitrous oxide REPLACES air in the cylinder? By that theory, a turbocharger blowing air through the intake manifold (akin to nitrous jet blowing nitrous through the intake manifold) will DISPLACE air in the cylinders... I'm afraid that it doesn't do this Nath, it SUPPLEMENTS the air... The engine literally sucks MORE O radicals/O2 molecules/Whatever into the cylinder so that we can squirt more fuel in and burn the extra oxygen -> More POWAH!!! So going by your calculations, we'd be gettin 2ml of oxygen from air + 1.8ml of oxygen from the nitrous. Which doesn't make sense to me btw... How does 3.6ml of Oxygen atoms suddenly halve in volume when bonded to form molecules? There are still the original amount of atoms sitting there, why would their volume change just because they've bonded?
  21. I see you're 21, so you have a few years experience under your belt... So you're kind of in no-man's land Basically that's what Ian Luff teaches you... Stage 1: Slalom courses, braking tests, swerving tests, etc etc... Stage 2: Skidpan - Wet weather driving skills Stage 3: Track tuition - but this is absolutely useless... He didn't teach me a thing... All he did was sit in my car and go "Brake... Brake... GO GO GO GO!!!!! Brake... Brake... GO GO GO!!!", when I already knew all the braking points for my car better than he did (I have driven around Oran Park several times previous) and then he'd pump his fist up and down the straight as we drove past the other instructors... I just basically took him for a joy ride. When I asked "So how can I improve and lower my times?" He answered: "Well you're taking the dogleg at the limit.. Can't improve anymore there... Approach to the straight can be a bit faster (I purposely take that at 90% because you brush up riiiiiight next to a concrete wall and I want to leave room for error and power sliding), and the rest of the track you do really well." So basically yeah, Stage 3 is pretty much useless unless you're a track virgin, and even still going by reports of the other courses (McGill and Finlay), from other experienced track drivers, they seem much much better. So it depends what you want to learn Don't discount the track tuition because you're not interested in racing just yet, because driving your car around the track at full tilt, you learn 50000% times more about the way your car handles than you do on a public "driver education" day...
