  1. Croydon Racing Developments can order these in for you... I'm not sure you want to know the price
  2. Yup... That's your factory boost solenoid. Since it's been blocked off, you must be running some kind of aftermarket boost control. You can find it by going to your wastegate actuator (hanging off your turbo's exhaust housing) and following the vacuum lines coming off that until you hit something that looks interesting.
  3. The item in the large oval is either your factory boost solenoid or your fuel pressure regulator. I would guess your factory boost solenoid, but would need a large overview of your enginebay to confirm this... Do you have aftermarket boost control? e.g. Electronic Boost Controller? This would explain why your factory solenoid has been rendered inoperable by plugging off it's vacuum lines.
  4. UPDATE: I just remembered I'm playing paintball at 8am on Sunday, so I vote for Saturday cruise!!! :uh-huh:
  5. I thought you started a poll on "too much pee"
  6. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAA... Helen's impression of my screamer pipe made me choke on a mouthful of water!!! That was one weird-ass scream/gurgle/rrrrrreow...
  7. I'm in two minds... Saturday would be better so the Gong isn't crowded with eleventy billion habibs, but I'll be buggered for Sat night... Sunday would be better cos I could go out Sat night, but then we have to put up with all the habibs...
  8. I like my silver dildo more too
  9. I drive a white dildo now
  10. If I saw a yellow dildo driving down the road, I'd stare too :uh-huh:
  11. SR20 with HKS T51 KAI will probably spool up at about 5000rpm, and should run 10s CA18 with HKS T51 KAI will probably spool up at about 5500rpm, and should run 10s Perhaps you mean TRUST T517z or TRUST T518z?
  12. I just dug up my old Nitrous bottle, and I found that it's still full. I kept it in my garage for about a year now, since I haven't gotten around to installing Nitrous on my new car yet... I know that you shouldn't leave the lines full of Nitrous as they can corrode the lines and weaken them, but what about the bottle? Specifically the valve at the top? I'll empty it now... What a waste of $80
  13. It's not a personal "attack" at all. All it is saying is "If you don't have the knowledge or the experience, shut the fu ck up."
  14. I too, would have saved those plates and stickers until the car has run a 9 second pass. But the car ran a 10 second pass on it's first drag meet, with it's STAGE 1 MOTOR... Lets give credit where credit's due. And although I agree that the line "Until you have an R34 GTR than can run a 10.81 @ 136mph, I suggest you keep your comments to yourself" is infuriating, this is only the case because it's true. I'd say that only a handful (if that) of us would have the resources to undertake such a project as getting a lard-ass R34 GTR down the strip in the 10 second bracket in full street trim. It just seems to me that too many people are putting in their $0.02 where they have no experience and no basis for their comments, other than watching others do what they cannot do, or cannot afford to do. That too, is infuriating. Cliff notes: It's a beautiful car. I'd love to own it. I'd love to drive it. And believe it or not, so would all of you who bagged it and/or it's owner.
  15. Jealous much? This is by far the most stupid comment I have ever seen on an online forum. Congratulations. Until you have an R34 GTR than can run a 10.81 @ 136mph, I suggest you keep your comments to yourself, because all you're doing is coming across as a jealous prick, who can't give praise where it's deserved. Who gives a flying f u c k whether Jason whipped out the tools himself and fabricated his own driveshafts... He's got the resources to pay someone with the knowledge to do this, and instead focuses on doing what he CAN do, which is his job. Just because you don't have the engineering background to do everything yourself, does that preclude you from having a fast car? Do us all a favour and STFU.
  16. How are they with heavily... HEAVILY modified cars?
  17. No. Even if your throttle was stuck 100% open, you'd still have 0 vacuum because pressure will still stabilse through the air filter. As long as there is access to atmosphere anywhere in the path of the intake manifold/piping, pressure in the aforementioned manifold/piping will stabilse to atmosphere/0 vacuum. You will *NEVER* have vacuum "left over" in the "system". Period. Unless you're talking about nanoseconds after you turn the ignition off. I repeat. As long as there is access to atmosphere anywhere in the path of the intake manifold/piping (through the air filter), pressure in the aforementioned manifold/piping will stabilse to atmosphere/0 vacuum.
