  1. My HKS dump pipe had a thread for the factory oxygen sensor. I just flipped through my HKS Goods Master, and it's got a photo of the HKS dump pipes for BCNR33, and I can clearly see two threads for the oxygen sensors on each dump pipe No worries, they'll screw straight in.
  2. Hell yeah. We were chatting to Ian Luff afterwards and he was saying that if we had telemetry (data logging) in our cars, we'd freak if we saw the throttle data... We'd probably be on full throttle for less than 10 seconds of the entire lap... Just not enough straight lines for our skylines Just like Wakefield, it's more suited for smaller turbo or N/A cars and most importantly, LIGHT cars that you can chuck around from corner to corner Eastern Creek is more suited to Skylines
  3. Yep... We were lapping on South Circuit. We only had three laps timed for the entire day, so I'm not sure what our overall best lap times were... But from those measley three laps, my best was 51.30 seconds, and MIZ.33T's was 56.05 seconds. Those three timed laps were probably the worst laps I had done on the whole day But I still beat the second fastest lap time by 2 seconds This was an Ian Luff Stage 3 CAMS OLT Day... Porsche Boxter S, Lots and lots of V8s, Monaro, about 6 or 7 GTRs (R32 and R33), etc etc... Lots of expensive machinery there that day... Was awesome!
  4. I'll be there, but won't be racing if it's gonna be wet.
  5. I didn't actually spin out... Just went off-roading for a while And it was only 201km/h... Apparently they had a Porsche GT2 that did 210km/h down the straight of Oran South Circuit   That's some *MAJOR* speed for that little straight!!!! Glad you enjoyed yourself MIZ.33T
  6. That wet weather go-kart drifitng looked like such awesome fun Pity they were all booked out
  7. They don't give a crap. I went in once and handed over the rego papers of my silver skyline. It was put in my dad's name for insurance purposes, and I didn't get a note from him... The chick behind the desk said: "Is your father here?" Me: "No..." Chick: "Is.... Your.... Father.... Here?" Me: "errrrr... Yeah... He's outside" Chick: "Good... Go get him to write a note giving you permission to race the car" Me: "No worries" Went outside, got someone (Kabab?) to write the note for me, and went back... The chick nodded and accepted the note without even looking at it. Easy. They don't give a crap
  8. :hellpisd:
  9. Hmmmm... Didn't I just read that someone did this conversion and needed wheel spacers so his rims would clear the larger S15 calipers?? I might be mistaken, don't quote me on this BTW, excellent brake upgrade Christian
  10. Awesome! Nothing beats experience, and attention to quality and detail Sounds like you've found yourself a experienced tuner/fabricator that will do the job properly! As I said before, as long as you have someone who knows you won't accept a crappy job, and knows your power goals and requirements, you should be fine...
  11. As Rev210 said, cracking is due to hot spots, due to poor exhaust manifold design. I have never seen a Japanese-designed manifold crack, only locally made Stainless steel manifolds... Any metal can crack if it is poorly designed. The Japanese spend months trialing different designs and have their exhaust manifolds on flow benches, trying to take advantage of cylinder pulsing and using near equal-length piping... What happens when you get a locally made exhaust manifold? They will get their flange, and put it on your head. Then they'll start spot welding some bends on and slowly build up each runner until they all converge in the same spot, where they weld them all together and chuck a flange on it, where your turbo will sit. There is no flow testing done... I'd bet my puppy dog that they didn't research how the gas pulsing would effect flow properties or extraction characterisitcs of the manifold, among with other things I wouldn't have a clue about when designing an exhaust manifold. It's true that they're much more expensive than locally made ones, but you know as well as I do, that the Japanese products are second to none, and no "custom made exhaust manifold from Cabramatta Exhaust Specialists" will ever match the Japanese design or quality. Having said that, there's absolutely nothing stopping your local exhaust shop fabricating a decent exhaust manifold for you... You just have to get the point across that you're not after a slap, bang job... You want it done PROPERLY. Best way to ensure you don't get a dodgy one made up is if you have a mate in the exhaust business You seem to be spending a whole heap of moolah on your car, so I just thought I'd suggest what no-one else had in this thread...
  12. G'day Joe... Not saying you're wrong, but all the photos of the manifolds in my HyperREV are all Stainless Steel. And my HKS Exhaust Manifold is made out of Stainless Steel. Perhaps the earlier made ones were made from mild steel/cast iron? It seems to me all the ones on the market today are made of Stainless Steel. And yeah, the Japanese exhaust manifolds are a work of art. You could pay a local exhaust workshop $4000, and they wouldn't come anywhere near to the quality of finish, or design of these japanese manifolds. Seriously GTS-t VSPEC, spend 5 minutes, turning an HKS Stainless Steel Exhaust Manifold over in your hands, and you'll understand exactly what I'm saying.
  13. Have you thought about just buying a Japanese exhaust manifold? These are available brands in my HyperREV: Sunyou - 128,000 Yen Essential - 168,000 Yen EXIT - 220,000 - 240000 Yen Bullet - 105,000 Yen APEXi - 198,000 Yen Rave Factory - 158,000 Yen Meiku - 130,000 Yen Prime Garage - 180,000 Yen HRD - 128,000 Yen Climax - 148,000 Yen HKS - 198,000 Yen (258,000 Yen with wastegate)
  14. NAY!
  15. As per title... Please email me at andrewho at viriumgroup dot com
  16. It's: "I never NARKED on nobody"
  17. Turn up the boost einstein You expected 180rwkw with stock boost? :bahaha: :bahaha: :bahaha: :bahaha:
  18. Sorry dude... Playing paintball this Sunday
  19. Ahhhhhhhhh... :bahaha: :bahaha:
  20. I didn't get it Who's Mr. Cashew?
  21. HAHAHAA... Sorry about getting your whole thread deleted Dino's right, they were a little too much for SAU My bad, I'll take full responsibility for that one Sorry. All I have to say is:
  22. Hahahahaha... oops Sorry... No more bukkake OWNED pics from me
  23. TRUST ME. You do *not* want a triple plate clutch
  24. It was slipping in 4th gear in my car... 1st, 2nd and 3rd gears were fine, and it held 280rwkw just fine, it was only when you really REALLY loaded it up with that amount of power did it slip. So for any cars with less power than that, it'll be fine. If you're making more power than me, it's suitable for a rebuild... Asking $900, located in Sydney. email enquiries to: andrewho at viriumgroup dot com
  25. I have a set in case I get defected for my rims, and which I lend out to people for compliance (they're 99% rubber) How much were you looking to pay mate? All in good condition, with as I said, 99% Kuhmo Ecstas...
