Mate, I just rang Rob from Powercruise, there aren't any pit garages left. They were all snapped up real quick apparently and there's a wait list with 4 people on it anyway. I'll try to go along to take some photos and do a write-up for the newsletter.

You're not going to pike AGAIN, are you Mona?
-
They're always usually booked for 7:30pm or 8pm

Sorry, perhaps I'm not reading this right... But how can you discount those factors so willy nilly? That's like calculating trajectory, "assuming no air resistance or friction"? These are integral parts of the calculation?

I don't want an '89 GTR. I said I'm looking for an R32 GTR. See? People automatically assume that it has to be an '89 model. I blame the 15 year old rule 95% of the '89 GTRs I've looked at, are pieces of sh1t. Finding a good one is like trying to find a vegan in an abattoir, operating the nail gun. I would have been more than happy paying more for an R32 GTR before the market became saturated with these GTRs that would never have passed regular compliance procedures. GTR ownership should never have fallen to a $17,000 entry fee. It's ridiculous. -

The M3 CSL uses custom designed Michelin Pilot Sport Cup tyres, not Yokohamas. Yes, the Ferrari 360 will eat an M3 CSL alive around any race track. It is also twice the price. For reference, the 360 Challenge Stradale is something like 5-6 seconds faster around the Top Gear test track and the M3 CSL. Lap times are something like 1:22 and 1:28 respectively. -

Because you buy an M3 CSL for a dedicated track car. You don't WANT radio or aircon. THAT is why you spend $220k on an M3 CSL. If you think that price is ridiculous for a track car, you obviously aren't BMW's target market, and should stick with $20,000 skylines like I will  -

Jesus. I just read the rest of this thread. What has SAU become? I blame it all on the 15 year old rule -

I'd have to go for a) Ignorant. A stock GTR is SLOW. It needs about $5000 worth of mods to make it what it should have been from factory. Any stock HSV will beat any stock R32/R33 GTR. Stock R34 GTRs which are grossly underrated, would give them a run for their money. A GTR isn't the be-all and end-all of cars. They need to be modded to be fast. By today's standards, they're slow when they're stock. It's this kind of attitude that gives Skyline owners a "wanker" and "ricer" title.... and deservedly so. -
He was being sarcastic. The photos you posted are smaller than a bee's d1ck and are useless

No worries Christian... I also have a receipt from the insurance company agents, which lists the date of delivery and all the serial numbers and part numbers. There is a full 3 year parts / 3 years labour warranty on this model laptop, and it is fully transferrable to the new owner. Cheers, Andrew.

I have a window regulator problem that I need fixed before I get the windows tinted, as apparently when replacing it, it is very easy to scratch the window tint.

We don't know, but we can take VERY educated guesses because of our previous experiences, and seeing way too many photos of accidents on forums... A few years ago, I was driving my mother's Mercedes CLK whilst my Skyline was getting a new clutch. A taxi driver decided that it was a good idea to run a red light across William St and ended up t-boning me right in the driver's side door. He hit me with such force that I was sent flying 90 degrees to the direction I was previously travelling, and hit a traffic light 10m away with enough force to completely bend it in half and sending it downwards crushing a Lancer waiting at the intersection. Before I could recover my breath from getting winded by airbags galore, I was surrounded by a whole platoon of plain clothes police cordoning off the middle of William St, 2 ambulances from St Vincents and 2 fire engines from God knows where. They were all literally there within 2-3 minutes of the accident. In between gasps of air, I was extremely impressed with how efficient the police officers were at blocking off the intersection, and how quickly emergency crew were on the scene. I was rushed to hospital and went straight to Emergency to check to spinal injury and whatnot. He was travelling at 60km/h through the red light, and he managed to write off a $120,000 Mercedes CLK and send me to hospital. You think you got hit at 60km/h and got away with $5000 damage? Experience tells me otherwise I know that it probably felt like he hit you at 100km/h, but from what you've told us, it was probably quite a slow hit... More like 15-20km/h which is still hard enough to feel like a Mack truck and do quite a bit of damage. Anyway, if you want to hear about the job that Vision Smash Repairs in Artarmon did on my old Skyline GTS-t, please feel free to PM me. I cannot post up my experience with them in this thread.
