  7. Awesome One question........did you still have baby seats in the back????? Bloody fantastic if you did, drifting with baby seats.......
  8. What about using a hairdryer? To get stickers off windscreens and pannels, a hairdryer works a treat, heat up stickers and then carefully peel off.......
  9. Sweet, is there an ETA for the S2 Stagea, hanging to get it...... They look awesome Bass...
  10. Sweet, thought our car was the only one that did this, passenger rear leaks, and passenger front has a bit of a whistle over about 90k's. Looks like I've found a job for Jason on the weekend, thanks Warren

  12. Brought ours the day after my birthday (it's Sheri here again! Sweet as birthday pressie to me!), November '05, flew to queensland, brought from Motovation, and drove home to Tassie, which wasn't such an easy feat, I was 7 1/2 months pregnant......Not a nice drive Brought her for something a little different, was looking at a R33, but when we found out we were expecting a baby, realised that all the baby 'stuff' that needs to acompany a baby everywhere wouldn't fit, so decided a wagon derived from a R33 would be the perfect option......and everyone is happy.
  13. Glad she's arrived safe'n'sound, all in one piece. Have fun installing all the 'bits' you've got for her. Looks sweet

  16. Don't give up on the old girl just yet. Just think of that dyno figure as a starting point. But I do understand the whole 'money' issue, you keep spending it,but don't feel like your getting anywhere. I think Ska's idea is fantastic, find a dyno that reads higher.......hey when you do let me know!!!!
  17. Is there much left on the car? Can car still move under own power? Would the car straighten out for a thrasher, race car, rego?
  18. How far away are our S2 'payed for' deflectors? Don't let it drag on to much longer!

  20. tazgtr, saw in photos Tassie number plates. Where in Tas are you? Been hanging to meet some fellow Satgea owners and do a bit of a photo shoot. We're in Launnie. Your dad has a sweet ride, love the yellow
  21. that's gonna be sweet as once it's all painted.
  22. My fave drive???? Anytime I drive anywhere is a favorite. Our story isn't that different from alot of you. We live in Tassie, and after deciding we couldn't live without a Stagea flew to Queensland. We almost brought your car Techo, but Motivation couldn't guarentee the compliance plates would be there by Thursday (we had to leave 1st thing Friday morning), so we brought our silver '98. Friday morning we left my wifes parents place on the Sunshine Coast and drove and drove and drove to Gosford - my wifes sister was living there so we stayed the night. After that we took a slight detour and headed to Bathurst, some of the roads between Windsor and Bathurst are great, lots of twists and turns, although Sheri (my wife) was a little over it all by this stage - she was 32 or 33 weeks pregnant . Really wanted to do a couple of laps of Bathurst, but guess what they were running a club day or something there so we couldn't get on all the track......then on to Albury-Wodonga, I have a mate who lives there so we went out for dinner with him and had a couple of coldies at the local. Up bright and early again and on to Melbourne, drop Sheri at the airport so she can fly home - gets super sea sick- and on to the boat. What a great drive, but next time we'll do it in a couple more days........
  23. Slide, Are you able to give any tips on budget building some long travel (8"- 12") Macpherson strut front suspension. The car has Bluebird struts in it at the moment. Or do we need to fit some a-arm / vw front sus.? Can you provide any tips/ measurments of lenghts, angles, shock mount position when building a-arm? With the 180b rear what sort of angle can you run on the shafts? With the car sitting still what sort of cambers do we want? Cheers, Jason.
  24. Something like a Navara?
