Awesome job, different as, but check out the butcher job on back guard in photo number 7.........Perhaps should have spent just a smigin more to do the job properly?? Just my 2 cents....
We bought a 120y 2 door that was built for class 5, years ago. It has a recessed fire wall. It has a 180b diff assembly in it. We are going to get it going with a hotty L18 and 5 speed but I am liking the idea of a VG30t.
I am looking at buying an early 300ZX VG30t (2 cam engine) for our class 5 offroad car and am seeking info. Has anybody used one of these engines with reliability and success? What manual g/box and b/housing do they use? Where can I buy a Navara front entry inlet man.? Has anybody got a std computer and eng. loom? How much boost will std engine take with correct tune? Anybody built replacement turbo exhaust manifolds?
Tried to mount my boost gadge on the dash 2day with double sided tape and it wouldn't stay. So I sat it cup holder until I get time to make alu. bracket mounting from hand brake release. I really only hooked it up 4 tuning and to see what boost we r running after full 3" ex., K+N panel filter. I have got an R32gtst w/gate act. I am going to fit, so we will see if they hold 10psi then tune SAF-C. I will take gadge out once tuned. Go the Stagea!!!
At the risk of being disowned by all the other Stagea owners in Australia, I don't think it's that bad, it's certinally different, and you sure wont see another one like it........ever!!!!! It does need to be a different colour though.......
Has anybody seen or fitted a GTR plenum to an RB25 with a throttlebody mounted at inlet. Thinking of do this mod to make inlet track shorter. Can I buy adapters to mount up to RB25 head? I have an EB T/body. Maybe I should buy a coulpe of GTR turbos, afms and ex. manifolds as well. I have just fitted an SAF-C so I should be able to tune to suit turbos. Could I use 1 Z32 afm or do I still need 2 afms. Would std comp. work with 2 afms?? Any real advantage with these mods?
Walkoau, Pm'd SK from Stagea page with fitting adj. cam gear to NEO. VVT on inlet, can fit a.c.g. to ex. I have an R33 gear to put on my Stagea. SK has run his at -4deg so far. Great post in Stagea page showing how to fit (in DIY).
I have read that making std inlet man. front feed is no good for air distrobution to all cyl. Am I being wrong drumbed? What is advantage of having individual trumpets inside inlet man?
