  1. Dunno if this is a repost... but... NATS is an automotive trade academy (like a tafe I suppose) and every year they have a cool idea that they bring to life as a final project.
  2. yeah got a pair too, screw type.
  3. yeah mehbe for me as well. 32 goes in the shop next week, will have to work on it on the weekends.
  4. does it have a VCT lump in the front of the cam belt cover?
  5. yes I did design the logo, but you still need the go ahead from PranK before you can officially sell any SAU merchandise. I don't see any issues with it, but still, run it past him as he owns the rights to it. I thought you wanted the graphics to make a couple of stickers for the westsayeed crew?
  6. oh look... a twig.
  7. Since teh ceffy has unwittingly taken over duties as daily driver, and the 32 relegated to garage space occupier #2, I think it's time to convert the cef to gas. Its got a massive boot (good for 5 dead bodies or 6 if you chop em up) and fuel tank completely under the boot of the car, it might not be that bad a candidate either. That said, most of you guys in VIC are more cluey about gas conversions than the guys in the other states, so I'm hoping you can school me on the ins and outs of dual fuel vs straight gas only. From what I've read dual fuel is worse for the system as the ECU isn't properly tuned for either. straight gas is cleaner and more efficient, but chances are you'll be stuck in the middle of nowhere with no gas. also what sort of costs are we looking at for a full conversion to gas, just so I can work out if it is feasible to do the conversion. Don't wanna be like hybrid drivers who make a saving on what is essentially an overpriced model, which means you have to drive the car for 10 years before you recoup the price difference. Oh also I'd love some recommendations for shops who do conversions and have worked on RB's before.
  8. Drove alongside AHHH33 today along burwood rd on the way to work
  9. my garage got broken into while I was in bris and stuff got stolen too (custom made wide VS-XX's etc). scum. but yeah upgraded security now with motion detectors and a full fence around the house. hope ya had insurance on your house.
  10. looks kinda like a generic GFBish jigger. plumb it back.
  11. you can have different widths front and back as long as your overall rolling diameter is within about 1.5% difference, and if there is a difference the larger rolling diameter should be at the back, otherwise your car might think its losing traction all the time. That said its much better on the system to run the same overall diameter.
  12. peak hour traffic, when it moves at about... well I could get out and walk faster.
  13. red dragon cake?
  14. W...T...F?
  15. is it your pants party jez?
  16. you sir, have a severe case of the carbonitis. I'm guessing the rear diffuser is kevlar though?
  17. what about 4 door lines? 32 or 33? actually now that I think about it, since cefiro's share 50% of parts with R31's under the bonnet, maybe their exhausts might be similar too?
  18. meh, half the guys who post on here about getting defected attract attention by doing stupid shit or being in the wrong place. The other half are just a pack of whinging bitches that need to man up and cop one on the chin once in a while. at the end of the day if you drive sensibly, and have a roadworthy car, then the police won't pick on you, and even if they did, they wouldn't have much to get you for. I've found they generally leave standard looking GTR's well alone as they're generally driven by older guys who are off their P's. The type that own the car for a more deeper reason than "it can chop my habib's VL" or "it does hektik skids". If you're sporting a massing wing, a skittles coloured paintjob, neons or 22" chromies, then you're pretty much asking to be pulled over.
  19. Thread split. Offtopic discussion in other thread. Any more OT will get warns.
  20. haven't had the time to do any work on this car for the last year, so... still for sale if someone wants to grab it.
  21. before: during: after: wat?
  22. FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK! I just spent the last 2 hours clocking Street Fighter IV on PC, so that I could unlock Akuma and Gouken and it froze on me as I went to save it. FML.
  23. looks like you've already figured out the wise choice. fuck rims, any muppet can buy rims and stick em on a car, doesn't make the car they're attached to any better or worse, so they shouldn't even matter in the decision makin process. buy the S15. 95 GTR's are only worth about 22k to 24k max, esp a stock one, anyone who argues otherwise should get their head checked and prepare for a swift kick to the nuts.
  24. well we've bought a long rear and waiting for it to get to the shop. altho I'm hoping the driver side rear quarter is salvageable.
  25. We came across a Mazda bus in japan that had over 1,000,000 (one MILLION to be said in dr evil voice) k's on it. Only ever had one engine and it was a rotary. Although, now that the OP has hit 10 posts and can send PM's I doubt we'll ever hear back from him.
