  1. i got a different plan for a shoot, gimme a couple of weeks to plan that out. got a "spot". but need to wait for permission from the right people and on the right night. stay tuned. that said, nothing stopping you guys from organising a cruise after to a shoot spot.
  2. i think I threw up a little in my mouth, and the alarming thing is, it might actually resemble the interior of that car. gay wheels. gay fitment. gay cheap leather or most possibly pleather interior. gay chrome boost gauge bolted to dash. bad paint matching on the sideskirts. truck indicators on front bumper instead of proper R33 ones. you need to get out more if you think that's the best looking 33 lol. 1994 R33's GTSt's aren't worth a dime over 9 or 10 grand, unless they're putting out over 250kw and don't look like a fully sick habib just molested it.
  3. you could always have seafood. fish is halal right? AFAIK crabs n stuff are haram, but fish should be OK.
  4. Kinda closeish to UQ campus in Toowong (there's a few buses to there). Near a creek with a park n shiz, house has backyard with a pool and rumpus n stuff. I've broken my contract so I'm basically paying for it anyways. So rather than paying money for the next two months remaining on my contract and not use it, I'm happy for someone to occupy the room. Basically I'll be subsidising the cost of the lease, happy to work out a deal. Its at 12 Kensington Circuit in Brookfield if anyone wants to google maps it. Lease is only till August, so it'd be ideal for someone looking for an interim place to stay.
  5. I was thinking of subcontracting someone to develop a few Oracle DB procedures to work with an online application I'm developing for a client, still waiting on the tender to be approved first though, but if it comes through, I might have some freelance work?
  6. its at a chinese restaurant, the duck is what we usually get, but others prefer some noodle dish (who wussed out on epic duck). menu: http://rockkung.dining.com.au/store/default.pl Their BBQ pork ribs with spicy salt is also very good.
  7. you assume correctly... shit's called "kingsway" AFAIK.
  8. do you know the lumen rating of the "normal led" they're brighter than then? are they brighter than the regular incandescent ones? cos in the pic they look dimmer.
  9. lol anyone who pays more than $30 (at most) for an HDMI cable is a complete pillock and ought to have their money ripped out from their wallets. have a good read of this: http://www.videsignline.com/howto/dtv_ente...JUNN2JVN?pgno=1 and this: http://www.audioholics.com/education/cable...ble-bench-tests and watch this: http://www.avforums.com/forums/avforums-vi...t-part-1-a.html and in fact, read any of the subjective, scientific tests linked to on here: http://www.avforums.com/forums/hdmi-cables...just-facts.html If you're using an HDMI cable that is under 3 metres long, you can use pretty much any cheapo cable and it'll give you EXACTLY the same quality as overengineered monster crap. Digital signals are either recieved or not, they have checksums and checkbits, there is no such thing as signal strength, only data corruption, and that takes over 4m of wire to even become an issue. So unless you're running a longass wire to a projector, save your money. here's a 1.8m HDMI cable for 10 bucks. I use 4 of these on a decent AV system (XBox 360, PS3, 1080p Sony bravia, HDPC, merantz receiver etc), so I'm sure as hell they will work on any other system. http://crazystu.com.au/18m-premium-hdmi-ma...awg-p-4954.html the 3m version is $5 more. Also, reselling shit on SAU is not allowed unless you're a registered trader.
  10. http://www.eziautoparts.com.au/index.php?t...roduct_id=47582 or these guys, if their website worked http://performanceshop.com.au/products/bra...t/Antennas_188/
  11. Cleaned up the thread, and date has been set. Keep 2nd July night free. Plus we have an itinerary
  12. posting msn conversations is so 1998. fuckin amatures. anywho. GTR bought, on its way to shipping yard. w00t.
  13. its a pretty primitive way to run richer or leaner as it works across the band. there would be no reason to use one unless there was a problem with the car, or if there were mods that needed this. What if there is something wrong with the car that makes it run lean, the Pivot ACS is used to make the car run richer, thus eliminating the risk of detonation. Take it out and you put your engine at risk. Don't just rip it out, that'd be stupid, go to a tuner, put your car on a dyno and see what it does and then possibly look at having your ECU retuned to negate taking it out. Till then, leave it the fuck alone, its not doing anything harmful.
  14. have you got a lumen rating on these?

I don't consider myself old, I reckon I'm at the perfect age, for example... atm if I go home with a 20 year old, she could be learning a few new techniques. If you go home with a 20 year old, she could be your daughter.
  16. Been a while since the last food run, and since Dezz has lost 5kg, its our duty to make sure the boy gets as much food in him as possible. So I propose another Duck meet. This time however we're gonna mix it up a lil and try and get some bubble tea on the same night. Usually by the time we finish the bubble tea place has closed. Now the bubble tea place closes at 9:30, so our aim is to be done with dinner by about 9, which means getting to the place by 8. Therefore: 7:00pm, meet at Monash University in Carpark 2. 7:30pm, cruise to Glen Waverley. 8:00pm, dinner at Rock Kung on Kingsway. 9:00pm, bubble tea at Happy Cup on Coleman Pde.

  18. Yeah Laurence or Streeter is the way to go, not many guys have better service than them.
  19. He's probably holding the plates so that no one else can take em... then swaps the plates on the 35 for shows etc.
  20. Sure I found your thread and moved it to here: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Ty...od-t276386.html Oh and stop using bold and making your fonts bigger... it'll annoy some of the people on here, kinda like typing in capitals.
  21. Tutorials need to be authorised fist before they appear. So they won't appear straight after you post them. Also. The rules for the Tutorials/DIY/FAQ section specify "FYI ONLY!!! DO NOT POST QUESTIONS IN HERE." It might have been deleted by a moderator who thought it violated that rule.
  22. you could unpick the welds holding the steel ribbing to the sheet metal, then use the ribbing with the fibreglass skin you just made, and add another layer of resin to hold the two together from the underside? I'd have to agree, probably a better idea to make a basic mould first and then go from there building up vents etc. But as long as you keep it to a couple of layers thick you should be fine though. The difference will be negligible.
  23. you could get an HKS Camp, Apexi Multichecker or any other digital readout device and plug it straight into your ECU. No gurantees on if it'll be accurate though. I use an Apexi Multichecker on my 32 as my speedo's out by a little bit.
  24. sif... sunnybank has mad waterfalls. err... somewhere. Did you bring back any goodies? Does the Micra have baller aero now?
  25. if you can sit thru this video and not laugh, then I'll happily retract that pic. if you do laugh, you're a racist whitey.
