If you're using an HDMI cable that is under 3 metres long, you can use pretty much any cheapo cable and it'll give you EXACTLY the same quality as overengineered monster crap.
Digital signals are either recieved or not, they have checksums and checkbits, there is no such thing as signal strength, only data corruption, and that takes over 4m of wire to even become an issue. So unless you're running a longass wire to a projector, save your money.
here's a 1.8m HDMI cable for 10 bucks. I use 4 of these on a decent AV system (XBox 360, PS3, 1080p Sony bravia, HDPC, merantz receiver etc), so I'm sure as hell they will work on any other system.
