  7. are the kits JSAI or Viva garage spec? or are they decent and don't need an exorcist and prayer to fit? have you got any pics of the kits themselves or others that are done by the manufacturer which you've personally got?
  8. lolfag 180sx dude. luckily he had 3rd party or this ordeal could have been much worse. next time some random joins an official SAU cruise we'll just stop and let them pass or give em the old "GTFO".
  9. lol smells like a spam bot (seeing as he has the brand name he mentioned in his nick), but oddly its on topic and in the right section. haha has me second guessing. My guess is its a way to get Google search results hits when someone searches for "welding aluminium with a mig". but back on topic, I'm thinking of buying a MIG, but wanna be able to do aluminium welds too. do I have to get one that's capable of really low voltages as the aluminium I wanna weld is pretty thin?
  10. my ceffy doses like an athlete on the roids, but it comes from factory with no recirculation valve, and still runs stock boost on a stock turbo. all you have to do is take out the intake resonator and bolt in a pod and I get instant flutters. GAGF if that's bad for the turbo, it came from factory like it and has run for 180,000 kms with no damage to the turbo or engine.
  11. where are you located? S14 series 1 or 2? R32-R34 conversion kit includes hood?
  12. lol sif steal anything from a stock standard ceffy. the camry parked next to it was more done up. enjoy your standard cd skipping japanese cd player that doesn't go past 90 on FM radio. BTW if you are hotwiring my car, can you fix the electrical issue that makes my driver side highbeam come on when i turn the car off?
  13. Parked the ceffy today at Syndall and caught the train in... lets hope its still there when I go home. that said... Glenny line > Dandy line. The train and even the people on the train are much much nicer. lol. The women are less skankier though, but they make up for it with good looks and quality.

so what you're saying is most of the other blokes that buy R33's are girly men?
  15. hey russ, we should have a GTR reo and bar at driftline if you wanna swing by.
  16. lol yeah that's what I've been doin, but it takes like 1.5 hours all up to get to work 3 hours a dy stuck in public transport... fuck that.
  17. for reals? isn't noble park station where that african gang kid got stabbed and the cops keep tellin people to avoid travelling through?
  18. spotted a silver S1 stag pulling into dandy shopping centre in melb as I was leaving today at about 3pm.
  19. Welcome! Some of the S30's in the US are pretty balls out. Although... RB head on an L block is gonna be tough though, simply because they're very different engines other than both being inline 6's. Stroke the L to a 31 or 32 instead. post pics of your car(s).
  20. Hmmm some interesting ideas. Been told that Syndall's not that bad a place to park and ride either. I'm actually considering buying a bike to ride to the station... it's only a couple of Km's away anyways. That way I cut one bus out of the equation making work just an express train and a tram away. Would suck if it rained though. Might even get a fixie so I can pose like a trendy yuppie. Are bikes allowed on the train?
  21. hmmm I'm starting work around Fitzroy/Collingwood, so that might not be that convenient, as its a 30min bus ride to Vic Parade and then a Tram up the road to Fitzroy. ATM from my house in dandy, I catch a bus to Dandy station, express to the city, then onto the 112 tram to fitzroy. 1.5 hours. FFFFUUUU. Good thing about catching a train from dandy is that you're guaranteed a seat
  22. your car will need to meet state registration rules, which varies. From memory all personal imports get a gold plate instead of a green or purple plate. Once your car has an approval, then you can register it at any time after it gets here. It's just like trying to register an unregistered car.
  23. Winton is AASA AFAIK. Rules are much more sane. Was supposed to drive up with some of the Driftline boys, but will ahve to give it a miss as I have work Good luck lads.
  24. yeah I don't think Dandy's a good place to park anything really... but I keep hearing people saying they drive closer to the city, parking and hopping on a train. Trying to figure out where people drive to and park if they live down this way.
