best thing about living in the US for more than a year is if you own that car for a year you can bring it here as a private import. maybe look into getting a new corvette, mustang or camaro or something.

you're allowed to import a car into the US for private use for a year or something like that after which it has to be re-exported or taken back with you. you can keep it RHD etc. most R32's in the US are dodgy imports, and they're legal in one state only, but not federally. few guys run the risks and import em, but if I were you I'd stay clear of skylines in the US.

Car prices in the US are stupid low compared to australia... taking a skyline there is kinda pointless. enjoy cheap euro's and american muscle while you're there. if you really need a jap fix, you could always pick up a banger 240sx (S13 or S14) for under a couple of grand and drop an SR20 into em (they come with KA's)... actually you could probably find a few that have the conversion already done by kids there. Or get a supra... but then you'd be hardgay.

I sold the original BN kit (that that copy and the mould was pulled off) about a year n a bit ago to another guy on the forums... dunno if he's fitted it yet.

you have the choice between LMGT's and shitty koyas and you're thinking about it? the specs of those LMGT's you posted will make them sit about 1/2 and inch inside the guards on your 34 GTT. Your car will handle better on 17" than it will on 18" with lower profile tyres. no brainer really. sell that rubbish and put some LM's on.
