  1. may be interested in the front bar if i can have a pic? to see if it's any different to the one i already have
  2. heya justin i would be very keen to get those part numbers from you as i have just ordered a set of bars and would like to know if they are gonna fit my S2?
  3. my s2 has a nissan stacker installed in the rear passenger side trim cavity but it has no disc cassette in it, id be willing to sell it if anyone wants it? theycan have it for 50bucks if they want it?
  4. would be keen to get a hold of those part numbers as soon as they are available!! so i too can have straight rears but i have a series2 so would you be able to compare for fitment? as i have never seen another stag on the road its bit hard to compare stuff.
  5. the knock sound you are hearing could possibly be the rim itself rubbing on the shock body, i have had this problem in the past with independant rears and being lowered. remove one of the rear wheels and check the inner lip of the rim for damage, also look on the shock body itself for rub marks of any kind.
  6. nah nothin yet stupid f*&$ing posties prolly thought it was porn or somethin?
  7. yellow 98 rs four s, koni adjustable suspenders, tinted out all round, mp3 head unit, r34 rims powdercoated black metal flake, turbosmart e-boost2 control unit, pivot speed meter, custom exhaust and dump pipe in stainless steel, adjustable camber and traction arms in rear, heavy duty adjustable selby swaybars front and rear, eyelids for the headlights, looking at haltech ems,and hoping my radiator deflector plate arrives soon, then i will be looking at fitting a liquid to air intercooler.and trying to get some xenons so can burn the road a bit better
  8. had a look thru this thread and just need to know a few things guys. i have a series 2 (neo engine) would a turbo from a vl crumpledore be suitable as it will bolt straight on? as they are relatively thick on the ground, would it be a suitable swap as they are a bit higher flow rate as stock aren't they? or would it be better to get a completely different unit. if so any reccomendations within reason cost wise. i dont want to go silly on the horsepower side of things but i want it to be a bit more responsive etc. without having to modify the engine internals at all. i have a turbosmart e-boost2 fitted and am geting the exhaust done shortly, want to get a fmic as well in readiness for if i need to upgrade the huffer, but not sure which path to take?
  9. looks like a good fit up and was real keen on on ethe same for my series2 until i saw the PRICE!!!!!! was not alone in my undies afteer that i tell ya!
  10. i am a motul man myself as i have been using it in my last 4 road bikes, and am currently using it in my aprilia as well as the stagea. i am also a big fan of the slick50 range of products, and have also been using them since i was 14 on my first dirtbike. i recently treated the engine of the stagea when i did a filter service. we had to drop the idle around about 800rpm once it had "run in" on a short drive(50klms or so). last week we treated the main gear box but as the local supplier only had one bottle of trans treatment i am yet to treat the transfer case, as soon as it arrives he has set a bottle aside for me and if its anything like the rest of their products it should make the shifts a lot smoother. i spose ya could say i am a fan of it to the point we have even used it in the chainsaw, mowers and brushcutter!!! AWESOME STUFF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  11. i had a note in my letter box from yesterday but i wont be able to pick "whatever it is" up until monday on way to work. so if it is the cd i will be puttin a post on as soon as i can
  12. have had the e-boost fitted and am now just waiting on the exhaust to be done so i can tune it in properly, at this stage it seems that it will be a very good thing once set up properly and i work out how to drive it!! it fitted beautifully in the small recess on the left of the steering column under the demister button. (i will get a pic and chuck it up on here once i work out how to do it ) have also fitted a pivot speed meter on top of the column to get around the speed limiter/fuel cutter. as it is about the size of a matchbox so that it is not intrusive at all and gives a digital readout of speeds beyond the limiter as well as 100/200/300 and 400 metre times.
  13. hiya all i was jus wondering without looking through the whole thread page by page, are series 1+2 the same for sway bars? as i have the shock side of things sorted (adjustable koni) but feels a bit boatish in heavy cornering! also are the camber arms the same? as i would like to get some adjustable ones for the rear at some stage.
  14. i may be able to harass my little sister into doing the translation for us all as she has just finished her 3rd year of japanese, for when she goes to live there for a few months later on this year. i will see if i can guilt her into doing it as a school project type thing. but dont hold your breath cos she is a bit of a stubborn bugger
  15. have taken the insignia to the embroiderers and am waiting to hear back from the carpet shop as to whether thay can match it closely for pile and colours etc,so as soon as i hear from them i will let you all know more. oxford
  16. the fan and mode buttons on my series2 are illuminated but the recirc fresh and off buttons are not so maybe it has just blown an led out? i gave mine a tap with my finger fairly firmly and the mode/fan ones worked after that so give it a bash perhaps? also the head light dipper control wheel to the right of the column does not seem to do anything on mine either, has anyone else had this? if so how was it remedied cos it would be a handy thing when towing etc!
  17. would shannons be able to do a better deal for mine as listed in my previous post?
  18. got mine through just cars for $1014 with rating one protection, but i am in country vic. and the car lives in the house next to the bikes, only prob is that they dont do pay-by-the-month so its a big hit in the pocket all at once
  19. cheers thanx for that brendan, will pm beastien shortly. hope the knees feel better soon , i know where ya comin from i have hip displaysia so it locks up on the bike and stuff at the most inoppurtune times like at turn 4 on phillip island!! the logo i was gonna use is actually the one beastien has for his little pic on the side i have saved it to disk i just hafta get off my butt and take it to the embroiderer so he can see how it will come up. thanx oxford
  20. yes they would be rubber backed and this would be stitched on as well as adhered to the rear of the carpet so it doesn't bubble up etc. i dont know how it would go being pushed up the back of the seat unless you had some way of fastening it there say velcro tabs or something. i am hoping that all done with rubber backs that they will come in under $150 as the decent carpet itself can be anywhere from 60 to 80 by itself and the rubber backed stuff can be even dearer dependant on the type of rubber used then you have the embroidering on top of that!. i will be looking into it either way as i need one for my car,so once i know a bit more i will let you all know. hey tangles how much did yours cost you by the way?or was it in the car when you got it? also guys is there any difference between series 1&2 in the back cos i thought they were the same from the A pillar back?
  21. hi all did a quick search and found not much at all regarding cargo area mats, i am looking at getting one done for the rear of my series 2 and was wondering if there would be any interest in a group buy perhaps?, i have found someone that is willing to embroider them in a design size around 8 inches high for the unicorn symbol and text around 3 inches high of the word stagea in the corect font. if there is any interest please let me know and i will look into the group buy thing a bit further. biggest trouble i am having is finding a nice enough carpet that does not cost the earth with a waterproof backing, and is a reasonable pile length and colour.
  22. just purchased a pivot speed cut meter for $79 on ebay so will be keen to see what the yellow peril can do once its fitted.
