my question is why do they kill the xenon lights? especially when they are coming out as standard equip on bmw's and the like? also does anyone else have the light height adjustment wheel down to the right of the steering wheel? and if so is it hooked up/does it do anything? as mine doesn't seem to do anything at all.

hi all just thought i would add a couple of part numbers in here. wheel studs to suit series2 part#43222-70T00 front drive shaft inner boot/dustcover kit includes new grease and circlip as well as retainer clamps for around boot. part#39741-05U87

heya all finally worked out what the problem was with the climate control in the stag. it was a pin pushed back into the plug that goes directly onto the rear of the head unit itself. took 4hrs of dickin around to trace it back but we finally found it!!!!!!!! yay so now i don hafta go thru the cycle of adjusting the temp all the time by using the old fashioned regulator(window)

may be very interested in these coil packs as since i have wound the boost up we found was seeming to blow the flame out and had to close the gaps in plugs up a bit or ran like a dog. will know a bit more in a week or so when i get my tax done, but definitely interested at this stage. cheers oxford1327

has anyone on here used any other type of ems/ecu on their stag or does every one just autopilot toward an apexi unit? some of the ems/ecu's in the hyperrev mags look like they would be a good replacement but i cant read japanese so dunno what would be involved? anyone????????? i am looking at maybe doin a complete computer swap if i could find a reasonably easily tuned (in australia) unit. has anybody got any ideas?

i have a series2 but i am in ballarat (bout an hour up the road) if that helps at all? but i also work in geelong some days if thats easier? i also might be coming down to melb soon for a day trip cos i gotta take my aprilia back to the shop for a recall

the next thing of course is which specific model FC to get? as there are a few different ones available? if anyone has a specific part number/model number would be a good thing to go on. would make life easier when searching the net or shops for prices etc.

well that puts him out of the picture then. does anybody know of someone in victoria that would be good to tune an FC in a series2?

had to buy two wheel studs today when we discovered that some rattlegun monkey had stripped two of mine on the front wheels. tried all sorts of configurations and found that they match nissan pulsar of all thing so i will try and get the nissan part number and will post it up

directed at 66yo stagea. have you tried eucalyptus oil to get rid of the sticky stuff or even BIG KEV'S goo remover? i have found either of these to get rid of most things gooey!!

hi all was wondering how many of you have had contact with a 4wheel drive dyno iin victoria and where it is located etc. also do the guys that are tuning there know anything about stageas/skylines etc and the setup of these cars? what are their rates for tuning? have they got any experience in setting up turbosmart products such as the E-BOOST2 and pivot speed meter? as in the near future i will be looking for a tuner once my exhaust and liquid to air intercooler are fitted to open her up and get it tuned under load. any reccomendations good/bad will be greatly appreciated. thanks in advance guys. oxford

i am hopefully getting one of the guys i work with to have a look at the climate control in a week or so (he used to work as an aircon mechanic/fitter) when we both have days off and he can get in to the dash and have a look. he has told me that silvias have a similar problem sometimes and its usually after a turbo timer has been fited and the installer has robbed a wire from somewhere in there, and it shuts the climate control down. will keep you all posted as soon as i find any thing out about it cos it is annoying little things like this that would be nice to just be put right cheers oxford

already sussed that the sensor is working on the outside temp easiest way to test that is to depress the temp knob and it will show the outside temp, then if you unplug it it will automatically show 32degrees. have tested that and seems to be all good

heya guys i have been tryin to work out where the mixer door control is on my S2 as the heater is either in full hot or full cold mode, the mixer door is moving but it is not blending the air it is just full travel either way. would there have been any reason for this to be done for compliance? or maybe just a fuse or somethin. hoping it is something simple and as i am still waiting for my manual to arrive from funky it is not likely that i wanna go pullin the dash out anytime soon. any assistance from you guys would be greatly appreciated. oxford.
