  1. the alignment is being done at my local pedders workshop on a CORGHI brand alignment machine whether that would make any diffwerence or no i dunno. it is a new machine prolly less than 2 years old
  2. heya andy yeah i have printed out the entire suspension thread around 80 a4 pages at work and the guys have based their settings on getting as close to the ones in the thread as possible but it still wanders
  3. my series 2 has hicas and attessa just to make it more fun to get bits for as some of the std stagea suspension part (r33 gtr) wont fit cos of the hicas
  4. i kinda figured you wouldn put atf in the manual box but was told to also use normal gear oil in the transfer too? so will hafta check this out a little further with the local skyline guru.
  5. yes it has hicas
  6. would this apply to auto stageas only? or would it also be applicable in manuals??? just curious cos i am looking at doing a fluid purge right thru the car soon including brake fluid etc.
  7. any more updates bass???? gettin close to the jolly fat bloke showin up is all.
  8. hey terminal i was wondering as it must be still raining? do your rear upper arms squeak a lot?? mine do and my missus is goin mental about the noise when she drives my car. when i lube them it goes away for a bit but usually comes back the frist sign of a wet day. do oyu notice it or do ya just do waht she does and turn up the tunes?????
  9. sorry its such a big file but ya can read it clearly that way
  10. the car has 17"s on it and is maybe 2" lower than std as i have to be able to get over some pretty steep driveways etc where i work
  11. gonna try and upload a pic from my phone of the print out so will see if can read it otherwise will type it out the long way
  12. hiya all was wondering if anyone else on here has had problems with their car developing a tendency to drift over the road surface? mine has recently developed this problem aand i suspect (after 4 wheel alignments) that the rear steering rack maybe causing it? before i got the rear camber corrected and the front caster done i t would always pull to the left a little but now it can go either way at random times, its not a drastic pull but it is enough that if you let your hand off the wheel that the next bump/ridge in the road surface will cause the car to drift across over the course of around 50-60 metres or so. any ideas guys as it is pissing me and the wheel alignment guys off to no end, (prolly seeing as he cant charge me until he gets it right) gotta love service garuntees hahahahahaha cheers oxford
  13. did i hear some one say "GROUPBUY"??????? cos i would be keen as for one of them mats if someone was gonna get one and split the shipping costs?
  14. am still interested but i need some more info before i commit to a purchase this big especially second hand, also how low was the car they were on and what sort of issues were there with regard to wheel alignment , camber, toe etc.... if i get some answers you may get some of my coin???????
  15. here are the details of the bulbs i used to upgrade my headlights SK. for low beam. AUTOTECHNIA super white H1 12V 100W, opti blue/silver MAX,UV cut. platinum coated, super xenon gas filled. (got em at K mart for around $30) for high beams (in grille) EURO DEZIGNS (sic) HB3 8500K H.I.D xenon krypton. (got em off ebay in the U.S) took around a week or so to arrive and were around $40 delilvered from memory. i upgraded both sets of lights for less than one set of phillips globes and they are more powerful than the phillips ones too, they throw a crytal blue/white light and apparently are just as good if not better, as full blown XENONS i have been told.
  16. i have upgraded my std globes with some autotechnia ones that are "not for road use" and they are awesome they are rated at 100w for low beam and are pretty much the same as a xenon with UV cut so they dont burn your lenses out as they are plastic. i have also upgraded the high beam spots in the grill to 8500k globes i ordered from the U.S they were fairly cheap abd arrived in around a week. i will chase up some part numbers etc. for you and post em as soon as i can SK. cheers oxford
  17. any updates yet bass? just so ppl can get an idea and can keep the peace.
  18. i can confirm that the SECRET SQUIRREL TWEAK works a treat i now have a power fc runnin in my stagea. thanks to andy and wolverine for all their help and guidance while doin the install/tune. car started out wih a little over 120 rwkw and a fairly bumpy power curve, but now it has a steady 172rwkw from 4700 rpm all way to 6800rpm. coulda got more but want/need to be able to drive it every day and also "she who must be obeyed" uses the car to cart her lil monsters around too when i am on the bike. definitely worth the coin if you were to go that way!!!
  19. good to hear its all just about finished bass. i think anyone who is involved in this buy will have learnt from it eh? in that if they are to start a group buy of their own on how to organise stuff before hand and maybe have ensured the product etc. is gonna fit and be workable on their own car of if they dont have the same vehicle that it at least fits the model designated before advertising the availability. i think that these are a few good points that we could all take away from this buy for future reference, don't ya agree?
  20. mine got freighted from brisbane to ballarat in victoria for $450 thru toll
