After much stuffing around with mine MELV, I found the easiest way to do it, was to pull the headlight out.. Takes 30mins to get the headlight in and out, or 4 hours fart arsing around behind it...

Speed signal to the instrument cluster comes from the speed sensor... This signal is then passed on to the ECU... I'm unsure where the auto ECU gets it's signal from...

They don't look like normal PC jumpers at all. There are 2 rows of solder pads in the top right of the PCB. They are marked ADJ 1-10...

$49.95 I bought my skyline after getting into imports in a big way with a mates S13. It had a CA18DE, then a SR20DET, then an RB20DET, then an RB25DET with a T04... Featured in Zoom 69. The RB25 was by far the best motor of them all. Made over 250rwkw in the end. I decided then that Skylines were Gods gift to the roads... I convinced Dad to buy an R34 GTR Vspec to fuel my fire for a while. A few months later, my missus and I had another child and decided we needed a 4 door car... For around $20K, I couldn't think of a better performance oriented car on the market... Still can't to be honest. And so a relationship was formed... :cuddle: :love: Till death do us part... :inlove:

The US manual doesn't list a colour for the speed output although something in the back of my head says Grey? If we look at the Jap manual though, there is a japanese character next to the speed output wire where the colour should be shown in the US manual. It appears that this info has been lost during translation. Someone who can read japanese should be able to tell us what colour the attached character stands for.
