While on this note, can anyone confirm whether the R32/33's have the same CAS? i understand the plastic is the hitache one and the bare metal is mitsi. I ask becuase i intermittantly get CAS code in my diagnostics. And i didnt want to startup a new thread

The thing that id be keen on knowing is whether they release it as an Auto, or a manual.

I have just sourced myself a brand new APexi Neo - Will be getting that tuned soon. My car made 175rwkw with just a catback and cheap pod. My tuner reckns he can net me 220rwkw on a rich tune. Ill see. i just want a safe "semi-rich" tune.

I love the Selective gear boost feature on the AVC-R - allows you to set differnt levels of boost in different gears.

Even if this is true, or might be in the future, my concern is the poor tranny! I dont think they would make a manual specifically for this model, due to pricing constraints and so forth. It would be interesting to see what they do to the tranny to make it withstand the hammering.

its true tho. I must admit. You have to give the car credit when it deserves it. IMHO - The ZR1 is a pure sports car. I mean it has a stick shift for starters! As much as i LOVE the awesome GTR, i have to say that the ZR1 is a more refined piece of machinery. I donot want to start a flame at all. Im just saying lets appreciate other cars as well as Skylines. Personally, sarcastically speaking, if the President of USA gave me a choice to own, between a ZR1, Merc SL range, BMW, Japan, Id gladly choose the ZR1 However tho, on the track it would be different story. Yeh i had that, but i changed to a full on TOMEI Dump and front pipe - Bellmouth design.

Hey all, i have a similar issue and am wondering whether the R32 actuator may fix my boost creep. sometimes it creeps to around 13-14psi!! im using the turbosmart boost tap off sau.

so if u were to set it to say 7psi, would it hold it till the redline???

Have you tried a lower boost setting? eg Low boost of 7psi and hiboost of 9 or 10??

Thats weird! i have a similar issue. Maybe the FMIC has a leak or something??? What brand is your FMIC? Mine is HDI.

Hey, after some research, i think my exhaust is too free flowing. Could it be? I just have the usual mods - FMIC, CAI, and a FULL exh. When i say full, i mean it has NO restrictions at all. Tomei dump pipe leading into a Tomei front pipe which leads into a big section that the 5inch muffler attaches to. There are no resonators/cats at all my boost issues started when i took off the pea shooter, put splitfire coils and changed to the bellmouth dump. Whats my best option here? 1) Put on a cat? 2) Go for an ebc(that wont FIX the issue) 3) f**ked if i know! Currently it creeps up to around 9-10psi, but sometimes it spikes to 14-15psi!!! I back off as soon as it goes over 10psi and let it cool down.

MintR33 - You mean just any buffing machine and some good ol cut and polish? What polish did you use?

+1 to ^ on a seperate note, here in NZ, if a civilian complained to the cops about someones driving, eg spirited driving, etc, they can have the "offender" taken to jail or do some community service. I know, NZ's law is so f**ked up its own ass that even the law gets confusing! It happened to a few friends of mine where they took him to court and he ended up doing some community service, ONLY because he overtook a lazy f**ker doing around 80k on the open road. Trust me, you guys have it sweet compared to NZ law which everyone in NZ hates, except the criminals!

sounds like your AAC Valve.. have a look in the DIY section. I think it might show up also in the diagnostics. No biggie!

Sorry to dig up an old thread like this but i am also keen on knowing this! I have a similar problem. I just want to know whether the reading should be between .6-.9ohms.. can anyone confirm??
