  1. but if your getting a new turbo, e.g. r33/34 turbo or a 2530 youll wanna get it remapped after youve installed the new turbo Bigger FMIC won't help for that sorta power, keep the one u got. Rb25det engine swap will set you back more than making your rb20det hit 200rwkw with mods
  2. Err they had SR series engines in them im pretty sure, definitely didnt have a rb20 in them. Maybe he means out of a r31 or something, theres only two types of rb20 as i know it, red top and silver.. silver being the later.. Then again maybe he means that it has a SR20det in it, can you post pics? hope that helps
  3. funnily enough i said exactly the same thing a while ago. Uhmm but most people seem to think a pod will not fit into the stock box I dont mind if its not legal, most important thing is that they cant pick it up... It's a queer rule any way Any one else know where u can purchase a box that will FIT A POD, in it? thx;
  4. hmmmm, wonder if i can jam a pod into my stock airbox =/ High flow panel sounds ok but.. wont literally 'sound' as good
  5. can you post a pic please man
  6. i tried to make one of of aluminium, took like 3 hours and ended up looking reallly crap, i suck at all that stuff zzZzz. Need one out of plastic or carbon fibre to look legit i reckon,
  7. Yeh so ive been trying to find a pod filter air box for months, have contacted, pm'd, called and emailed various people and companies but to no avail. I did find one type some one selling "pod enclosures" but it was a aluminium box that wrapped around the filter and i didnt think this woud be legal (was the size and shape of the filter). The main reason i want it is so that i can get away with 2 intake modifications. I have no idea why no one is making these.. Are there really THAT many more r33's/r34's than r32's on Australian roads? (besides the obvious, every wog in australia driving a R33, factor) Any ways so if some one could point me towards someone, somewhere who knows something about pod boxes, id really appreciate it.
  8. geraldton.. thats um western australia ay. Dont think the skyline would survive the trip there unfortunately.
  9. Yehhhh its great, turbonator.com is another set peddling these. Even autobarn has fans for placement after a POD, same theory or something Any way these things are hilarious and the only means any one has of backing them up is a study on vortex's and airflow that was never actually applied to the product as busty 2k said, airflows gonna just get messed up later anyway Hmm interesting to note that the turbonator site have a testimony of a guy with a twin supercharged chrysler saying there great and then in there products page they say that they dont work on forced induction cars
  10. yaa i got 190 in a landcruiser prado in one, was called stuart highway, north of alice springs
  11. eh yeh fair harsh, theres quite a few long roads in AUS that are unlimited speed, people always jumping to conclusions.. Mentioning anything over 100 KPH, mentioning drifting, burnouts or standstills and youll get flamed instantly, its quite sad really. Seems people think theres no places in australia you can enter into these activities legally
  12. although if your gonna upgrade the turbo dont do the remap till after it
  13. hmm, i think your explanation was informing enough.. Cant understand anything on that site, howstuffworks.. So the 1.5 way and 2 way ones will limit singular wheel slippage to a more extreme degree than the viscous dif will right.. Is it possible to put courser fluid into a viscous dif setup (i dont wana do anything like this, my lsd works fine for what i need it for, 2 lines) just curious
  14. yeh i have a 34 Neo turbo (dunno if only the "Neo" ones had the exhaust housing the same size as the vg30's or yours is a different size) and it comes onto boost about 3.5k and pulls hard from 4500
  15. Yeh as some one said b4 the 2530 unless you can affrd to hi flow a rb25 turbo (non hi flowed rb25 turbo probably wont see you through to 200+) or maybe a vg30 if you dont mind some lag (some one selling hi flowed examples for fairly cheap on these forums)
  16. If thats for a r32 then sure, where can i get 1? (or are you just posting to the topic name)
  17. just curious to know why the mention of 1.5 way / 2 way LSD's Skyline r32's have already got a high viscousity LSD (or something) in em.. So wats the difference between the standard LSD and the 1.5/2 way ones mentioned above?
  18. and brake fluid!
  19. yeh gutted standard one would flow better, but a hi flow one couldnt be much worse, considering larger size in and exit pipes (not adapted from 2 " to 3", and far better flow design. Although you could always say youve never had it off and i cant see hoe they could prove it wasnt the last owner
  20. demit why doesnt any one make these for 32's zzzzzzzzZZZZZZZzzzzzzzz
  21. i cant see a standard cat being very good for flow even when gutted though, a decent hi flow cat has far better aerodynamics, and is legal, so can only see gutting cats as doing things on the cheap
  22. yeh sweet, thanks mate, ill go test it out
  23. My handbrake is like really soft for some reason. If im at the lights and i dont really pull it hard up i roll and if im just driving (any speed) and yank it up (why i would test this i dunno) it barely even feels like its coming on at all How to tighten it?
  24. well if you can make them to suit r32's ill buy one off you Seriously difficult to get a pod box for a 32
  25. i have the same problem and always from 2nd to 3rd as well, sometimes it doesnt happen but sometimes its massive hoping some one solves the prob for u;
