  1. Any updates on the Auto R32 GTR?
  2. You making an appearence at the BLCC speed weekend Chubbu? Thinking I might be having my first experience of going round corners fast in my GTR.... Want to see me spin in the Chase from behind?
  3. Buy a non complied GTR or one with a lunched motor, then start unbolting... Or get a Stagea
  4. You often behave like a tool on public roads with people around?
  5. Hello everyone in 2012!!!!
  6. Here are the photos that started the rumor, the e-mail came through saying a 19yo kid had taken his dads R35 for a spin and hit a bridge in Sydney... But the cars in the background suggest that is a lie, clearly American
  7. My mother was co-driving in one in Targa Tas, and the guy took me for a run down the road in his road R32 GTR, Was already pretty obsessed (Sound, Group A racing etc) and the way that it just came into a corner and the back sat out, and just ripped itself out of the corners.. Then going for a ride in Morg's 350+ atw monster (RIP) and the way it would step out in 4th gear, accelerate sideways, and not once feel like it was actually going to let go
  8. So your RWD Turbo car fishtails in the wet..... Shit..... Probably just that you need more POWA to do it in the dry.
  9. Is this true? Anyone one here? is everyone OK? More importantly How's the GTR?
  10. Highly unlikely, Group B was outlawed in 1986.... And the GTR was built to be a Group A car (Which replaced Group B as a racing and rallying formula) sure that is not a bit under 1600kgs???
  11. I was actually coming in to start the same thread.. Is this Bride fake Sorry no photos of the tag or the hole in the bottom
  12. My first Proflex/MCA experience was hitting a hole that I thought was going to rip a front wheel off a corolla rally car, and i barely even felt it (was blown away with how well it worked). We then had the struts rebuilt and setup correctly, because they were completely f***ed and the improvement from them being bloody incredible before the rebuild was daylight again. Later ran DMS in a Subaru, and was impressed after the bad reports I had heard, but compared to very basic MCA the DMS still struggled, and yes they did eventually crack, and they Springbound quite consitently
  13. Love the way people are replying to this like Funky was cruising along the hume and happened to hit a Coyote in his Skyline... Pretty sure this might be a Nascar or similar guys and gals, and as far as the bodykit is concerned, they would probably have fresh front bodies ready to go.
  14. Given the fabled V-spec II sticker is $70+ it better be worth 10 bloody kws... The V-spec II is most definately far more collectable, because it has more words in it's name
  15. Do it, but do it properly, M4 at 50km/h, or something like that, all they did was park their cars on a race track and get a photo... and take donations etc on the way to ensure it gets on the news that we did something FOR the community in the process
  16. No, those are stands...
  17. So my question is, would i win when we drag each other off the lights? (theoretically) . (remember i own the r34.). (note. the datsun weights 980 kg (or somethin like tha)t and the skyline weighs 1400kg (that's not real accurate i know lol). My bro's datsun puts out 80kw of power. Luke. Thanks in advance. In answer to your question how long is a piece of string?
  18. I was looking when that car was for sale not long ago, special looking car without being anything silly, perhaps list any special parts and keep an eye on the for sale section for parts...
  19. IT CAN'T BE SOLD!! I MUST HAVE IT, WHO BOUGHT IT, I WILL PAY THE $150K FOR IT, I WAS LOOKING AT A SILVER ONE, BUT THE WELDS ON IT'S EXHAUST ARE OLD SCHOOL.
  20. Personally, when it finally came time, I bought my V-specII and drove it every day for about 2 months, just because I finally owned it (10 years waiting) and it now has a carpeted, lined garage, complete with a bar (shit you not) and I take it out on weekends, I have an old Subaru Wagon for day to day use, reasons being: *It is probably cheaper to own this than drive the GTR everyday (maintenance, depreciation, insurance, risk of damage etc) *If someone opens a door into, I laugh at the mark it puts in their car, and wonder which mark they put on mine *When I decide to pull parts off the GTR (turbos etc) there is no timeframe to have it back together *When I do drive the GTR, even on 14psi, it blows my mind, without me having to be stupid in it (you would be surprised how quickly you get used to having 300+kw on tap) There are heaps of other reasons too, but I would say 100%, if you are going to drive it every day, buy a normal one, but realistically, for what it costs to have a bomb, with some third party property insurance on it, what it will save you on the GTR is worth it, then you can buy something a bit special.
  21. I think it is a bit unfortunate that with the R35 having been released it has made it seem that the RB series cars are a bit sluggish.. But when you look through the current wheel/motor, have a look at performance time for some of the quick cars that are in there... 22. Yeah, apparently the person who BOUGHT it 5 days ago thought so to.. GL with selling your sold car.
  23. 12.7 might not be super fast in GTR terms, but al least the photos look fast!
