The in car footage of the 7:27 lap in news shows exactly the same style... So much for smooth driving... Seems incredible to get away with this on tarmac, I am not sure I am that violent on dirt...

Does it Dose?? Free bump for a sick ride

Check the dates people.... If it is not sold he would have bumped it within 9 months...

Nope, one of those in my hands would fall over

Perhaps see if you can find a 3.0 litre petrol rather than the Diesel, It has an RB in it already making mounting etc a lot easier and you could always use the 3 litre block, and swapping from diesel to petrol (Fuel lines etc) is not going to be an easy job

At least when they made the the Impreza so FUGLY it was not a good looking car to start with, I have always been a Subbie fan and love the Liberties, the current car is one of my favorite designs, sleek, smooth, understated but very easily becomes aggressive, brilliant.... THAT IS F****NG HORRIBLE

"i love the sound of skylines (oddly enough i prefer the sound of the rb25 over a 26)"- Ever since swapping from RB25 Stagea to a GTR I have been thinking a similar thing.. Inline 6 love for me started with an old 4.2 LPG Patrol, "Hmmm, turning right at a round about, 4th gear should do it," and with a set of extractors and a big zorst on it, it sounded sweet.

When you say you have trouble with reseting the Terratrip, does the person you are co-driving for have a remote zero?? If not get them to either buy one or make one, the plugs they go int oin the back are clearly marked and it us just a temporary contact button you hold (we made our current one out of a momo horn button) and it means you do not have to try to find the reset on the Terratrip on the run. Have you done pacenotes on tarmac? Does your driver have pacenoting experience?? If the answer to these is no then before going out and doing your first event get in touch, I have done several Pace notes events as a driver (ARC) and my mother who was co-driving for me then has many years of noting experience on dirt, as well as at Targa. It is a veryt different experience to route instructions, for starters you play a MUCH larger part in the car, if you are good and the driver can be confident they will be driving 80% on what you are saying, and they will go into a corner as fast as possible, which means if it tightens or gets ugly at all that will be the end of your rally.... In the ARC it was at a point where we were driving into corners faster than the car could go around it and using banks/gutters etc to push us back on. If you get pacenotes right it is twice the buzz of route instructions, for the driver at least.

I am yet to confirm it with a calculator (Have not had enough cash to put 2 full tanks in a row since I bought it) But R32 GTR with turbos, 3.5 exhaust, and 70% of the time on 7psi 30% on 14 (maybe a little bit of 20 for fun) around town (Bathurst) about 15-17l/100, which includes the car running for at least 5 mins before leaving home or work, and going across the blue mountains at a good pace plus a bit of driving in Syd is 10/100 if not a bit better!!!! Was expecting this thing to be heaps worse than my Stagea.. But complete opposite, Stagea was about 20/100 around town and 13-15 on the highway.. Manual, lighter weight and better o2's etc is probably the diff

I wish you had put this up about 2 months ago.... This car is an absolute steal!!!!

Had mine for about 1.5 months now and exactly as has been said above, I think the main reason it ends up being bad on fuel is that it does not move until the temp guage is at least upto the bottom marker, so it idles for about half the time it takes to get to work, then I leave home. Other than that the "Everyday Supercar" always seemed like a bit of a fap to me but it 100% correct! But I will soon go back to driving my old Subaru Wagon day to day. This will be so that when I do step into the GTR it is still special, and still fast, even Mums 200 Killerwasp V6 Rav feels pathetic after the GTR.

Pretty sure they respond to Fugly, but not sure what their real name is

Have a GQ 4.2 Dual Fuel (still carbied) Which has been in the family since new, it has been punished like nothing else (airborn too many times to count, used as a safety vehicle at rallies etc) and the probs are that the heads crack from the Gas (if you look after them probably not) and they get a bit of a rattle (hard to talk over in ours) But from Bathurst to Albury and back (Empty trailer 1 way, car on the way back) it used the same amount of money to fill as a 3litre turbo Rodeo (first of the current shape) was a bit slower, but things like clutches, gearbox, Diffs etc will last heaps longer. Ours has towed rally cars all it's life and the clutch and box were untouched until 250,000k+, (started falling out of 2nd) the clutch was still fine but replaced it anyway. For value Patrol (4.2TD or Dual Fuel 4.2,4.5,4.8) Or if you find a good one 80 Series TD Cruiser, I drove one recently and they are a better package (grunt and build quality), but still heaps more money.

Well this is where it begins... I will spend the next months collecting all the bits I need ready for a respray (front bumper, badges, N1 vents and lips) Then it will be time to strip it and find a bit more debt...

Hey Mate, just bought mine (2 weeks ago) I bought onw which is a bit rough paint wise but seems mechanically good, apart from a button clutch it is a brilliant car day to day, mine will not be a daily but until the reality of the fuel costs set in it is. The things to look for have been covered but in summary: (happy to be corrected) *paint on the Plenum peels when car gets flogged *Never trust an odometer... *Rust in the back of the rear wheel arches and bottom of the rear screen *Trim around rear windows is pretty much impossible to get right after repairs *Leatherette on gear and H/brake boot cracking (100000k plus) *Pedal pads worn (100000k plus) *Noisy Turbos *Silicon around the panel joins at strut towers etc *Compression test 5 and 6 are the problem Children here, if all 6 are consistent then that is a good indication of the motors condition This is by no means comprehensive but hope it helps, Spend money to get a car that is mechanically good, Expect to spend whatever you save (X2) repairing a cheap car within the first year

1994 R32 VspecII Apexi Dual pods Apexi 3.5in dumps back pipe HKS hard piping kit Possibly big injectors Possibly Z32's and a Question mark over the Turbo's (Expect them to be standard but it turns out they hold 20psi VERY well... but will not go back there until we know about them) Running on 7psi 140kw at all four did it 4 runs in a row and all lines are pretty much touching... Have since found out how to get it on 14psi and 20... (Turn the boost controller on... Fkin idiot)

Seriously man if even the people who took a turbo off a truck, then put it in the mail are out to get you this bad, I would keep that stash of dope real well hidden because that could be the CIA pulling up right now...

Can You Spot What's Wrong
iplen replied to TheCrystalMethod's topic in R Series (R30, R31, R32, R33, R34)
This bloke appears genuine, I am certainly happy with his response to my enquiry, I am going to bid 11ty billion Hey mate just wondering where the turbo and intercooler fit between the airbox and the throttle body??? Normally the induction setup would come out of the airbox, into the turbo, then forward into the intercooler, after which it would come back to the throttle body. Or is the turbo and intercooler a HKS "seperate from induction system setup" Have heard these are very powerful. A: G'day, I do not know detail of after market parts on engine. A lot of peoples are saying this car was not Turbo but as Nissan Manufacture's production data said this car was fitted with RB20DET engine. However I happy to known we have a lot of Skyline expertise in Australia. For buyer, he or she will receive E-HCR-32 or R32 Single Turbo engine RB20DET original stock car product from Nissan Company and not from back yard garage. Thank you very much for your questions. -
When ever we get some decent entertainment the Mods go and ban it, I would do no mods in no order. I am now returning to my dancing bear, YOU CAN'T TAKE THAT AWAY!!!

Can You Spot What's Wrong

The plumbing in the engine bay got me thinking... Maybe this is one of those fabled HKS "seperate from induction" turbo kits, thought I best ask the very informed seller, does anyone know what the GAS stands for in all the Chassis codes he quotes??? Do JDM R32s come with NOS??? -
Best advice I can give on C34's is buy one!!! I miss mine so much! But try and get one with twin sunroofs, There is so much stupidity to be had with them... Oh and they are good when it is hot too.

Standard BOVS as far as we can tell, also still unsure about Turbos, suspect standard until I prove otherwise. Given it is the stock ECU it should still pick up Detonation though?? Or only once it gets bad enough??
