  1. Diesel turbos usually has a large exhaust end with a relatively small compressor. Fitted to a petrol engine, they are usually laggier for the power in comparison to a specifically built turbo for that engine.
  2. Yes have seen 300rwkws on E85.
  3. yes that should be, and more responsive then a op6 high flow. but will be maxing towards 270rwkws mark.
  4. ss1pu is for 1450 same as ss2. for a r34 because of the cams and higher engine comp, down low torque doesnt change alot between the two. I will be running an ss2 instead.
  5. will look some thing like this:
  6. will look some thing like this: http://www.hypergearturbos.com/photos/turbos/atr45/atr45sat/intgate/50comp/rear.JPG,
  7. SS1PU will work fine it doesn't work with a small exhaust housing like the 21U units. So it will be fine. The new SS2 uses a different exhaust side, on dyno, compare to the previous model, its been able to take more boost with more timing. I'll still still be aiming at 20psi by 3800RPM in 4th. For predicted end result it will be some where close to 340rwkws internally gated on pump 98 fuel and close to 400rwkws on E85 externally gated. With the capacity of most common 3 inches diameter exhausts, I will be making some small bits and accessories to come around it.
  8. engineering a new ss2 at moment. should easily take over 300rwkws on pump. will up result shortly. ss1pu makes similar power then 21u but makes alot more torque. there is also a new turbine wheel on thd ss1pu this year, should up hp by 15kws with no lose in response.
  9. Yes and Yes. For best result get 3inches metal induction pipe.
  10. I usually mention to people the RB20det high flowed turbocharger is not bad for a daily, that usually make around 200rwkws. High flowed RB25det turbo will definitely be laggy. For a brand new bolton have a look at our ATR43SS1 this is a small billet turbo with a 64mm comp, that one is pretty responsive working with Rb20det engines and makes decent power.
  11. R34 GTT RB25DET NEO unopened engine. - Adaptronic ECU - 1000CC ID injectors - Factory cams, cams gears, and all manifolds. - HyperGear ATR45SAT Internal gated RB25 bolton Turbocharger - JJR 3 inches turbo back exhaust - Walbro 470L/H Fuel pump - 4 inches induction pipe - Split fire coil packs - PWR 600x300x81mm intercooler - P98 Fuel, 352rwkws @22psi with exhuast dropped before cat. - Tuned by Trent Hewitson, Chequered Tuning.
  12. Some further updates. this is ATR45SAT internally gated on P98 fuel with fuel pump issue sorted. There might be an exhaust issue, car made 351rwkws with exhaust dropped before cat, and 305rwkws with the new 3 inches exhaust that just been made. Might be putting an screamer to the front pipe and see if that sort out the back pressure issue.
  13. The dyno reading above shown its tappered down to 21psi?
  14. Monitor boost pressure before the intercooler, If its showing the same sort of tapering behavior it means the turbocharger is out of puff, but if its showing a consistent boost pressure it means the intercooler is restrictive.
  15. Drifting video from a 333rwkws R33 GTST using ATR43G3 externally gated on Full boost .com
  16. Get the ATR45SAT version. This is a newly developed turbocharger, similar response as the SS2 and alot more power. I'm currently working on a newer version of the SS2 and SS3 at moment. results will be posted shortly.
  17. One more result to add. This is an ATR43SS2 internally gated on a R33 GTST, with usual mods. P98 fuel. 308rwkws @ 18psi
  18. You can use our standard .82 ATR45 or there the ATR45SS version. Will make plenty of power hit 20psi by 4000RPM.
  19. For rb30det use the atr43g4 rb bolt on version. Thats similar to a 3582 in .82 rear. its quite responsive with the 3l and Will make alot more then 330rwkws too.
  20. One more result to add. This is from Boostborthers in SA. R34 GTT RB25DET NEO unopened engine. - NIstune ECU - 1000CC ID injectors - Factory cams, cams gears, and all manifolds. - HyperGear High flowed factory OP6 Turbocharger - 3 inches turbo back exhaust - Walbro 470L/H Fuel pump - 3 inches induction pipe with POD filter - Split fire coil packs - 600x300x81mm Front mount intercooler - P98 fuel, 292rwkws @ 19psi. - Tuned by Boosted Brothers
  21. Must make sure the machine shop bore your block to the right piston clearances, inspect the crank and get right size bearings, need valve springs and sets for the head. and its good to make some power.

  23. Sorry I might be on a phone or hands on machines during the time. If you can't get through please send in a SMS to 0413457185 or email through my site and I will get back to you as soon as I'm free. About GT3076 in OP6 rear it will be maxing towards 270rwkws on pump fuel internally gated. The GT30 turbine will only make up towards 300rwkws working with a .82 rear internally gated. Which do mean you will need to change all lines as well as cold n hot site piping. Our OP6 high flow is quite different, using one of our own turbines. That will max towards 300rwkws on pump fuel. Every thing bolton, no fabrications required. \\ We also have few new SAT prototypes, that max over 360rwkws on Pump 98 fuel and towards 400rwkws E85. Which is also a bolton turbo using factory hot side and lines. They be your next update.
  24. Yes I do have one. it will cost you $150 additional. Which you get that back after I receive your stock turbo.
