  1. It was a back to back test, might be doing some tests on the next dyno run

  3. Updating on SAU about the latest result of the R34 GTR test car: Back today at chequeredtuning with Tomei Pon cam Type B installed. Pretty interesting result to share as I never though it would make so much differences on a Rb26 engine. Using the same turbo and nothing else changed, car ended up making 444awkws @ 23psi, compare to stock cams, it made 31kws with 3psi less boost with waymore mid top end torque. It wasn't much laggier in response either. Car has: Stock R34 GTR Rb26 with APR head studs HKS Cam gears 0 inlet, 0 exhaust. 4. We can do. PM for pricing and details
  5. The surge slot is not there to improve performance. It is because GTX28 comp wheel will bend its shaft in solid housings, the surge slot is made preventing that problem. It looks like a T51R style sort of a insert, should make some induction noises. Anyway, Result from an earlier highflow we did. Red line is with solid housing, and blue is with antisurge slot. From a S15, internally gated on E85 fuel
  6. In lots of cases you will find the turbine wheel explodes due to level of centripetal forces pulling against their tip blades before the ball bearing cartridges actually collapse. In Journal bearing system that turbo would be long gone due to thrust bearing wear before the wheels reach their limitations. For majority of built engines operating at 30~50psi they need to run on ball bearing cartridges.
  7. No, they are good. Works fine.
  8. Looks like a .82 rear housing from Taiwan
  9. R34 GTR turbos got the .64 T2 rear housings for ball bearing cores. Can do a high flow with G25 based ball bearing chras. Doesn't cost much to high flow.
  10. Going back to the Super responsive ATR45SS turbocharger, now fitted to an stock Rb25det Neo motor. High mount externally gated setup on E85 fuel. Car made 390rwkws @ 26psi, 22psi @ 3500RPM.

  12. All turbos need to have a small movement in the shaft as the bearings relys on that clearance for rotation and oil delivery, you can that as bearing clearance. I say there should be nothing wrong with it since it came out of a fully working car. Assume its a bush bearing high flow, must make sure it runs an -4 oil line with no oil restrictors.
  13. 1000whp 300ZX is not something I come across every day. Powered by two of our ATR43SS-2 turbos externally gated on E85 fuel. Dyno maxed at 905rwhp @ 35psi
  14. Bit of Vid from Issac Gett Drift running one of our ATR45SS1 turbos in a RB2530det engine. Car made a responsive 430rwkws @ 20psi on E85 fuel. https://fb.watch/7HcHu9Y7T8/
  15. The turbine housing didn't make a great deal of differences. but the twin pulse manifold with twin gate did.
  16. Not a RB this time, but this thing's pretty cool:
  17. Some footage from last Winton practice from Mr Oversteering, Still running one of our high flowed OP6 Turbocharger making a responsive 310rwkws.
  18. Yes it is available. PM's sent.
  19. New prototype ATR45SS turbocharger. Now sitting at 485Awkws @ 32psi of boost, all in by 4200RPM. New turbo made 40kws more in power while no lose in response. Car's nice and and responsive to drive. Currently sitting at the limitation of the stock engine, considering of doing a forged build soon. 22. Similar to an ATR43SS-2 Another ATR45SS-2 result to share, This time in a T3 1.0 Rear with a Built RB26 running stock cams. Car made a impressive 625rwkws @ 38psi E85 fuel.
  23. 3.5 inches to 3. there should be another 20 kws left in it once externally gated with a better cooler.
  24. Following the car above, now with E85, Pulling 511rwkws and still plumbed back gate.
