  13. you all talk about "none damaged cars"I have seen and done jobs only to forget (later on down the track)which side was replaced and couldnt find it.....if something is done with an auto spotter, colour applied everywhere(inside and underneath)with the correct colour seam sealers applied with the correct gun complete with factory style overspray......How would you ever know????

  16. heres the way we do it.....we put the car on a caroliner bench....this animal is a handy peice of equipment Ill tell you....position the vehicle over the bench select the appropriate sill clamps and clamp them as per caroliner data sheet.....then we slide the measuring system under neath and bring the under body pointers to the spec....using the opposite end to the damage as the "0"point we work toward the damaged section using the spec sheet the closer we get to the damage we will see the measurments go out and the story begins to be told....we then bring in the heavy artillary....a dozer hooks to the side of the bench and we use an assortment of clamps to latch onto the body and give it a tag until it lands within spec....which they tell us there is a tolerance of 3mm....but i like to get them to where the sheet says....we then replace bits like radiator supports/chassis rails/coil supports ect....i done the one in the pic about 6 mnths ago

  19. hmmmm i hate to be rude and state what happens in reality but as i see it you didnt inspect the car yourself so therfore you have to wear it......as far as i am concerned a lot of prepurchase inspections are not even worth wiping your behind with....over the last month or so i have checked various vehicles after one these inspections to only have to tell the owner that there car has had 1/4 panels put on,radiator support panels, back panels all been plug welded with a mig welder and not ground back to an acceptable standard caroliner jaw marks on the sill panels and my grandmother wouldve spotted all this!!!At the end of the day what has happened is bad practice and i am pretty sure its obvious that the guy that drove the car there done it.....but unfortunatly you have to wear it....on another note....theres no way i wouldve given permission for a complete stranger to drive it sorry dude...
