  1. It's in export primer grey LOL Only on as a guide coat. Ill gun it down in proper etch primer when the bodywork is all finished. Then, to decide on a colour.
  2. Cool Cool mang. Ive had a hell of a day. Might have taken me 6 months, but it's finally all one colour, albiet grey primer LOL. Just need to finish my rear guards, Prep my front bar, and install my new bonnet and boot/bootlip and she'll be sent off to be painted. Not long now Then the keto gets some work done.

  4. already decided that Im going SR20DE. With GTI-R ITB's, Cams, Extractors, clutch and a locked pintara diff. Should be a good thing, and not cost too much at all.
  5. Hate to burst your bubble, But they arent VS-KF's. They're Blitz Z2 technospeed wheels. Thats nomukens Blitz/URAS car circa 03 - 04 I believe. VS-KF's - Blitz Wheels - You are quite right though, VS-KF's would be awesome town as well.

Id hate to see them destroy this. And yes, They may have been doing it longer than the japanese, but I dont think they're doing it better. Why do most people seem to buy Jap engine parts? Even the yanks buy mostly jap stuff. Go on Zilvia.com, Ziptied, or a lot of the other american forums and they all go for jap parts like fat kids to cupcakes. Take Nomukens 08 D1 car, RWD converted, 6 speed manual transmission, and sexy as bollocks. "The hillbillys, rappers and obese talkshow characters aren't going to be the ones touching these things." Thats true though, and thank bollocks for that. Would hate to see fiddy cent with one of these with 24inch chromies rolling through LA...

Yeah, The guy is on here, he's making them for 25's as we speak, he's looking in to getting one made for a 20. If it's all to hard Ill just go see LeRoy @ BTR and get him to make me a custom Jobbie. Truth be told, Shaun @ Boostworx (My Tuner) Said only to expect to see a 300 - 500 RPM increase in respone from a forward facing plenum, get much more gains from cams and tuning. Im mainly doing it to gain that 500 RPM, easy access to the plugs/copilpacks and a tidier engine bay. SHould be at full boost by 4000, so a 4500 rpm powerband is pretty awesome for a 20 in my books. Should be pretty easy to live with. If not, there's always cams, then nitrous LOL Gonna slap my turbo with injectors/afm and see how she goes first I reckon. More worried about smashing the box into a million billionty pieces than a plenum ATM LOL.

  12. What setup do you have richo? Fuel pump/injectors/afm/ecu/FMIC/Gearbox etc. What rev limit do yoy have too? I spoke to ryan at kansai, who said that himself and huddy were not happy with the 2530's at all. Both cars were using stock cams and plenums as well. Im hoping the TD06 I bought will be on full boost by 4000 - 4200, and with a 8500rpm limit, still a very usable powerband, provided I can keep it on boost LOL

  14. If you want "Bling", I would have gone for something like this myself..... Work Emotion CR KAI in Black Chrome Work L's.... SSR SP1 Professors in Black Metal Coat. Would get something like these, have them slightly proud of the guards with tyre stretched in, roll the guards, lower another inch and a half at least. SOOOOO Mcuh tougher IMO. Being a 4 door, needs a tuff, low, wide stance, moreso than a 2 door IMO too. Look even better with no kit as well, and all 3 would suit the colour too.
  15. And I reckon 32/33/34 GTR owners still wouldnt put cheap chinese crap on there cars either. I know I sure as hell wouldnt. I only own an R31, and I still would rather spend a little more and put decent gear on it.

  19. Ive heard a few people who have had the 2530 say they weren't happy with it at all, Was why I went for a Trust TD06. With a 2530 you're limited to 230-240 kw's at the most, if you get greedy and want more, you'll have to go bigger, like the GTRS/SS... Decide how much power you want, how much lag is acceptable to you, your budget, and what you intend to do with the car, and go from there. Drift/Hills/Good response/230 kw's at the wheels max = 2530 Straight line duties/higher speed drifting/dyno bitch/more lag but potentially more power = GTRS
  20. Nope. Getting an adaptor plate made. Waiting for costing as we speak. Otherwise Ill be going for a Custom made BTR plenum, or a RIPS bolt on job. Yeah, it makes the bay look a shitload neater, but Im also hoping cutting 3.5 foot of pipework out will help with response. Also makes plug changing/servicing a shitload easier. There are probably better things to spend your money on first though.
  21. Im putting a Trust TD06 20G 8cm turbo on my car in a week or two, removing the RB25S2 turbo, Expecting to see a full 1.2 - 1.4 bar by say 4000 rpm or so. And Ill be using a 8500 rev limit which I wouldnt be comfortable using on a 25. 4000rpm to 8500 is a pretty wide powerband to be using at full boost. Hoping to make a solid and reliable 250 odd rwkw's. Will be changing to a RB26 6 throttle plenum as well, and possibly tomeii poncams down the track to gain even more response should I need it. Sure, Could have gone to an RB25, but my engine has only done 50 - 60,000 kms, even comp across the board, leakdown test good, besides, it's all ready in the car, and top top it all off, a 20 costs half to a 3rd of the price to replace if I should pop it. Nothing wrong with a 25 by any means, just Im a hardcore fan of the 20, and it made much more sense to me to keep the 20. Im also upgrading to a RB25/Z32 gearbox with a twin plate, and a single piece tailshaft, hoping to have pretty much a bulletproof driveline, which is a good thing to have in a drift car. Nothing wrong with keeping the 20 in it, pop it and go to an RB25DE, and bolt all your 20 gear to it and still keep the costs down. I guess it all comes down to what you want out of the car and how much you're willing to spend.
  22. My car, with the same setup as yours, just with a walbro pump, made 178-180 on 8psi. Chuck a pump in there get Jeff/Shaun to remap the ECU and see what you can get. Want more? Put a reg on and get a bit more out of the injectors. More after that? Well, then it starts getting expensive. Anything after that and you're also starting to sacrifice gearbox reliability.
  23. Remap>aftermarket ECU on a 20. Get a 040, A Sard reg, and an EBC, with a remap, you'd see high 180's, low 190's on a "relativley" safe tune.
